Recently, the global star fandom application, StarPlay, released a poll asking people to vote for the idol they would want to learn English from! From ENHYPEN's Jake to Stray Kids' Felix, these are the top ten idols people voted for!
ENHYPEN's Jake Selected as the Top Idol People Want to Learn English From
From Mar. 18 to Apr. 1, StarPlay conducted a poll. titled "Fluent in English! Which idol do you wish was your tutor?"
Throughout the duration, ENHYPEN's Jake and Stray Kids' Felix battled it out for the first place. In the end, Jake took the throne. The visual-vocalist of ENHYPEn ranked first with 46.09% of the total votes and was selected as the idol people would want to take English lessons from.
Jake, who has a cute, puppy-like image, boasts excellent English skills. The idol is known for his distinctive Australian accent since he was raised in Brisbane, Australia. During ENHYPEN's debut showcase, Jake introduced himself as the member "in charge of English in the team."
Since then, Jake has been in charge of communication with global fans thanks to his English skills.
Compared to his Korean, Jake's voice is slightly deeper when he speaks English. The idol first caught the eyes of international fans as a contestant on tvN survival program, "I-:LAND."
In the show, he showed off his English by reading English fairy tales, surprising viewers with his fluent pronunciation. He often speaks to member Jay, who lived in the United States, in English as well.
During the group's acceptance speech at the 35th Golden Disc Award on Jan. 10, Jake was in charge of speaking English. At the time, the group won the "Rookie of the Year" award.
ENHYPEN, one of the representative groups of the fourth genre, is reportedly working on a comeback by the end of April.

Stray Kids' Felix Selected as the Second Idol People Want to Learn English From
Trailing shortly behind ENHYPEN's Jake is Stray Kids member Felix, who snagged 45.99% of the total votes. Like Jake, Felix hails from Australia. The male idol was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and moved to South Korea to pursue his dream of being an idol. He is one of the two Australian members of Stray Kids, with the other being the group's leader, Bang Chan.

Felix, alongside Bang Chan, are the two representative English speakers of the group. Growing up, Felix spoke minimal Korean, meaning he had to learn the language when he became a JYP Entertainment trainee.
During his time on the survival show "Stray Kids," Felix was initially eliminated from the group due to his lack of Korean skills but was later added back to the group. He has since improved his Korean skills and has stated in the past that though he finds it hard, he finds learning the language enjoyable.
