Is BLACKPINK's Lisa Going to be Debuting as a Soloist Soon?
When Lisa will be debuting as a soloist is one of the biggest topics of discussion in the industry right now. A representative of YG Entertainment really spoke with The Korea Herald over the phone and provided an update on Lisa's progress on her solo debut.
According to the representative, Lisa is still working hard on her album. However, when asked to confirm a release date, the company declined to give a timeline. Instead, YG Entertainment stated that they would announce a debut schedule through an official notice.
Last week, photos of the company's alleged comeback schedules circulated online. The document stated that the company is planning to have Lisa debut at the start of the second quarter of 2021, in Jun. Harper's Bazaar Thailand then took to their Instagram to announce that the "How You Like That" rapper would be making her solo debut in Jun. 2021.
Lisa is expected to have collaborated with DJ Snake for her solo debut. The DJ recently revealed through a fan interaction on Instagram that he had Lisa had worked on something together. Back in Jan. 2020, DJ Snake revealed that he worked on something with BLACKPINK as a whole group, but it never fully came to fruition.
DJ Snake has been friends with BLACKPINK for years. In the past, he has been photographed with the girl group, and DJ Snake has been seen commenting under BLACKPINK's Instagram posts. It appears Lisa and DJ Snake have kept in contact since they first met!

BLACKPINK Lisa's Recent Activities
Lisa is currently a dance mentor for the iQIYI's Chinese male survival program, "Youth With You Season 3." This is her second time as a dance mentor for the "Youth With You" franchise. She first took on the role for 2020's "Youth With You Season 2," which focused on female trainees.
Lisa joined the guest jury for the French Fashion Award ANDAM on Feb. 16, 2021. A few days later, on Feb. 22, it was announced that Lisa was the new endorser for the Vivo S9 Smartphone. Previously, Lisa was the endorser for the Vivo S7 Smartphone in 2020.
On her birthday, Mar. 27, YG Entertainment dropped the second volume of Lisa's photobook, "0327." The photobook contains photographs that Lisa took herself through a film camera. As of Mar. 2021, Lisa's official YouTube channel, Lilifilm Official, has surpassed six million subscribers.
