BLACKPINK Rosé Is the New Face of Tiffany & Co. + May Join Jennie, BTS Suga and PSY's Club Soon

BLACKPINK member Rosé has not only made a name for herself in music as she is also one of the K-pop idols that people look up to when it comes to fashion. So, it comes as no surprise that on Wednesday, April 21, it was announced that the South Korean beauty is the newest global ambassador of luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

BLACKPINK Rosé Is the Newest Tiffany & Co. Ambassador

BLINKs were met with another great news after Tiffany & Co. named BLACKPINK member Rosé as its brand-new global ambassador. The "On the Ground" singer was, reportedly, selected because of her bold personality, modern style and massive influence around the globe.

In a statement, Rosé said she feels so honored and grateful to be part of Tiffany & Co.'s growing family. The BLACKPINK member said it is very meaningful for her to become the ambassador of the iconic brand, which she has been a fan of for a very long time already.

For her first project as the newest face of the luxury jewelry brand, BLACKPINK member Rosé posed in a new set of photos alongside the famous 1971 bracelet and necklace, which is part of the 2021 Tiffany Hardware Collection. Most, if not all, fans are aware that the Tiffany Hardware line was introduced in 2017. It was, reportedly, inspired by the unique attitude and sensibility of the city of New York.

Tiffany and Co. shared that Rosé was selected to represent the brand because of her undeniable impact, contemporary bravura, and unflinching personality. These characteristics of the BLACKPINK member are said to be in line with the identity of the collection.

Reports have it that the latest Tiffany Hardware campaign with BLACKPINK member Rosé, who radiates the strength and confidence campaign without filtering, would be released around the globe through the official social media channels on April 23.

BLACKPINK Rosé's 'On the Ground' Music Video Reaches New Milestone

Meanwhile, the official music video of "On the Ground" by BLACKPINK member Rosé just earned another title. The clip became the fastest music video by a South Korean soloist to hit 8 million likes on YouTube.

In other words, it is just 2 million likes away from becoming part of the so-called 10-Million-Likes club. As of the moment, only three K-pop idols were members of the exclusive group, namely: PSY for "Gangnam Style," BLACKPINK member Jennie for "SOLO" and, recently, BTS Suga for "Daechwita."

"On the Ground" by BLACKPINK Rosé is not only making waves on YouTube as it also dominating various music charts around the globe such as Spotify. As of this writing, the said track is at No. 80 on the Spotify Global Music chart with more than 1.02 million streams.

Aside from that, "On the Ground" by Rosé is also one of the longest-running songs in the Top 10 on MelOn Weekly Chart. The track has been charting on the said platform for five weeks already. Other BLACKPINK songs included on the list are "Lovesick Girls" with 22 weeks on record, "How You Like That" with 16 weeks, "SOLO" by Jennie with 13 weeks, "As If It's Your Last with 10 weeks, "Forever Young" with 9 weeks, "Whistle" with 8 weeks, "Playing with Fire" with 6 weeks, "Kill this Love" with 5 weeks on record.
