BTS Suga is known to be not only an excellent rapper but also an outstanding songwriter and record producer. Aside from being a member of the global boy group, he has also established himself as a solo artist under the name Agust D, which he uses when releasing his mixtapes.

BTS Suga's Current State after His Shoulder Surgery
On Nov. 6, 2020, BTS member Suga was announced to have undergone shoulder surgery on Nov. 3. Because of this, the rapper had to take a break from group activities, starting from the promotions of BTS's new album "BE."

For starters, BTS Suga injured his shoulder back in 2012 when he was still a trainee. One day when he was working as a deliveryman, he was hit by a car. In the following year, he was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder. Since then, the idol has experienced discomfort until he was further diagnosed with a posterior labral tear in 2019. This means the cartilage around his left shoulder joint was broken.
Following his shoulder surgery, he has been receiving rehabilitation treatment and does various exercises. With all the help he can get, BTS Suga managed to resume his activities after two months, starting with an appearance at the 2021 Golden Disc Awards on Jan. 9.

In mid-February, Suga updated the fans about his current state following his shoulder surgery. He assured fans through a livestream that he has gotten a lot better and shared that he has been doing rehab three times a week. The idol added that he had begun the second stage of shockwave therapy. The first stage started in late January.
During a V Live broadcast on April 5, BTS member Suga - who is known for his love of coffee - shared that he avoids drinking coffee after his shoulder surgery as it doesn't make his body feel good anymore. Instead, it makes his heart palpitate the entire day.

In other news, BTS Suga recently attained an incredible milestone on YouTube. On April 14, the music video for his mixtape "Daechwita" has surpassed 10 million likes, making him the second Korean male soloist with 10 million likes on the platform, after PSY with "Gangnam Style."

Suga is the third K-pop soloist overall to achieve this feat, following PSY and Jennie. Additionally, "Daechwita" is the fastest MV by a Korean soloist to obtain this feat, doing so in only 326 days.
When it comes to overall K-pop artists, BTS member Suga is the fifth one to have 10 million likes for a music video, after BTS, BLACKPINK, PSY, and Jennie.
Prior to this, in early March, "Daechwita" debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Song Sales Chart after nine months of its release. The song has now topped the iTunes chart in a total of 102 countries around the world.
