SHINee Sets New Personal Record of Highest First-Week Sales Among Their Repackaged Albums

SHINee is back with a new album titled "Atlantis," which has set a new record of highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart among the repackaged albums.

On April 12, Minho, Key, Onew, and Taemin dropped "Atlantis," which is a repackaged version of their seventh full album, "Don't Call Me." It consists of a total of 10 tracks and comes with a music video for the title track, also called "Atlantis."

On April 15, SHINee's "Atlantis" was physically released, and since then, thousands of copies of the repackaged album were sold, setting an outstanding record for the boy group on Hanteo Chart.

SHINee Attains New Highest First-Week Sales among their Repackaged Albums

On April 23, Hanteo Chart took to Twitter to reveal the Initial Chodong or first-week album sales of SHINee's "Atlantis." The sales were accumulated from April 15 to 21, since the physical album was released.

Based on the "Initial Chodong Sales" data of the repackaged album, the boy group sold a total of 47,082 copies on the first day, which is the highest one within its first week. SHINee then sold 7,242 copies on April 16, 12,078 copies on April 17, 2,050 copies on April 18, 584 copies on April 19, 3,474 copies on April 20, and 1,589 copies on April 21.

The total first-week album sales amount of SHINee's "Atlantis" is 74,099 copies. This was the third-highest sales on Hanteo Chart in the third week of April, thus the album land at No. 3 on the weekly physical album chart.

In addition to this, "Atlantis" is now the bestselling repackaged album of Minho, Key, Onew, and Taemin. It has recorded the new highest first-week sales among the repackaged albums.

The quartet has seven repackaged versions of their releases. Their previous highest record was held by "Married to the Music," the repackaged rendition of their fourth full album titled "Odd" - both were released back in 2015.

SHINee's "Married to the Music" had first-week album sales of 69,465. The band's record with "Atlantis" is almost five thousand higher than the sales of "Married to the Music."

Apart from their repackaged album "Atlantis," the boy group's "Don't Call Me" has also set a new personal record of highest first-week sales. Additionally, it is the first SHINee album to exceed 100,000 copies.

"Don't Call Me" impressively sold a total of 127,208 copies, which are more than 35,000 copies than their previous record. SHINEE's 2016 album "1 of 1" held the previous highest first-week sales. It had 88,523 total sales.

SHINee Debuts Three Songs on This Week's Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart

In other news, Minho, Key, Onew, and Taemin have entered three tracks on the latest World Digital Song Sales chart. These three songs come from their repackaged album "Atlantis."

While their new title track "Atlantis" claimed the No. 3 spot on the Billboard chart, "Area" took sixth place. The other song is "Days and Years" and it debuted at No. 7 on the chart.
