BLACKPINK Lisa and Jisoo Significantly Contributed to Celine and Dior's Recent Successes Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

BLACKPINK Lisa and Jisoo continue to enjoy worldwide popularity, alongside their other co-members Jennie and Rosé. The group's impressive music has helped them penetrate some of most saturated music market in the world, which later helped them gain massive fan base.

Their influences have been proven many times over and it comes as no surprise that many brands trust that these K-pop idols could help improve their presence and sales - just like Celine and Dior.

BLACKPINK Lisa and Jisoo Credited for Celine and Dior's Recent Successes

Reports have it that French luxury brand Celine has been doing very well lately in terms of sales. It was claimed that the company has seen significant improvements to its sales and online presence since BLACKPINK member Lisa was appointed as one of its global brand ambassadors.

Just like any other businesses around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns had greatly affected the sales of Celine. The brand had thought of ways to surpass all the challenges it faced amid the pandemic until they decided to tap BLACKPINK Lisa, who has been very vocal about her admiration to Celine's clothing pieces, and made her the official face of the luxury fashion brand.

In April 2021, things started to turn around since Celine saw a sharp rise in sales, which was further amplified by BLACKPINK member Lisa's endorsement. The brand, according to reports, has significantly improved its presence on several platforms, including WeChat.

BLACKPINK Jisoo, for her part, is also being cited as the primary reason why French luxury fashion house Dior dominated the Launchmetric global ranking for luxury brands media impact. Since the "Snowdrop" actress was announced as the official its global brand ambassador, DIOR has never left the Top 10 in Foundation BR as well.

In 2020, BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jisoo were also credited for the victories made by BVLGARI and Cartier. The two luxury companies were named as the most-mentioned jewelry brands last year.

BVLGARI, which BLACKPINK Lisa, endorsed got 2.05 million mentions and more than 20.06 billion potential impressions. On the other hand, Cartier, which Jisoo endorsed, generated 2.03 million mentions and more than 17.8 billion potential impressions.

BLACKPINK Reaches Another Major Milestone on YouTube Recently

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is the latest addition to the list of female acts with the highest number of music videos to surpass the 1 billion views mark on YouTube. Recently, the official music video of "As If It's Your Last" reached 1 billion views after three years, 10 months and one day since it was uploaded on the popular video-sharing platform.

Aside from "As If It's Your Last," other BLACKPINK music videos that made such as milestone are "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "BOOMBAYAH" and "Kill This Love." The YG Entertainment-formed all-female group joined Rihanna, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Shakira, Taylor Swift and Sia on the list of female artists with the greatest number of music videos with over 1 billion views on YouTube.

Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj all tied on the top spot with six total music videos to hit 1 billion views. Ariana Grande, Shakira, Taylor Swift and Sia secured the second spot with five music videos each. BLACKPINK, for their part, nabbed the third spot with a total of four music videos.
