BTS's "Dynamite" is the Song That Spent the Most Weeks at Number One on the MelOn Charts
Ranking at number one is BTS's Aug. 2020 release, "Dynamite," which spent a total of eleven weeks at number one on the MelOn Charts! It is also the song that spent the most days at number one, spending 75 days at the top of the said charts.
Additionally, "Dynamite" is the fourth most-liked song of all time on the streaming service, with 395,604 likes.

Further, "Dynamite" is the longest-running number-one song on the hourly chart, recording 1815 hours on the chart. It is the longest-running number song on the monthly chart, spending three months on the charts.
"Dynamite" is also the longest-running top five songs on the weekly chart, spending 30 weeks within the top 5, and the longest-running top ten songs on the weekly chart, spending 33 weeks within the top 10.
BIGBANG's "Last Farewell" and Girls' Generation's "Gee" are the Idol Group Song That Spends the Second-Most Weeks at Number One on the MelOn Charts
Occupying the second-place spot is BIGBANG with their 2007 release, "Last Farewell." The song reportedly spent eight weeks at the top of the MelOn Charts.
BIGBANG has seen incredible success on the MelOn Chart. They are the artist with the second-most weeks at number one with all their releases, spending 44 weeks at the top.

BIGBANG's "Last Farewell" is tied with Girls' Generation's 2009 release, "Gee." The song also spent eight weeks at the top of the MelOn Charts, making "Gee" the longest-charting girl group song on the MelOn Charts.
Girls' Generation is the artist with the fifth-most number one songs on the said charts, with seven songs peaking at the top. They are tied for fifth place with TWICE and SISTAR.
