SHINee Taemin's comeback album "Advice" is receiving hot responses from fans around the world. "Advice" dominated various music charts both in his home country and overseas, including iTunes Chart, Hanteo Chart, and more.
SHINee Taemin Tops iTunes Charts with Comeback Album "Advice"
On May 18 at 6:00 p.m. KST, Taemin made his final comeback before military enlistment with his third mini-album "Advice." The album quickly rose to the first spot on iTunes charts in different countries around the world.
As of press time, SHINee Taemin's "Advice" has ranked first on iTunes Top Albums charts in 42 countries, including France, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Norway, Lithuania, Russia, Sweden, Mexico, Finland, Ecuador, India, the Philippines, and more.
Topping more than 40 iTunes Charts is a new record for SHINee Taemin.

Moreover, Taemin's comeback album reached the No. 1 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Top Album Chart. It is his third album to achieve this milestone after "Never Gonna Dance Again Act 1" and "Never Gonna Dance Again Act 2."
Taemin's "Advice" then took second place on both iTunes Top 100 Albums Chart and iTunes Top New Album May 2021.
Meanwhile, the album's title track, also titled "Advice," debuted on the Worldwide iTunes Top Song Chart, securing the No. 5 position. This is Taemin's highest peak on the chart, so far.

As of writing, "Advice" sits at No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs Chart in Colombia, Peru, Lithuania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka.
SHINee Taemin's "Advice" also charted at No. 63 on iTunes Top 100 Songs Chart, and No. 1 on iTunes Top 100 K-pop Songs. The latter chart ranks the bestselling hit songs by Korean artists in the United States.

In addition to iTunes Chart, Taemin's "Advice" landed on more music charts in South Korea and abroad.
In Korea, SHINee Taemin's comeback album topped the daily Hanteo Chart. A total of 64,281 copies were sold on the day "Advice" was released.

While "Advice" is the No. 1 bestselling on May 18, it is also Taemin's new highest first-day sales record on Hanteo Chart. The album surpassed "Never Gonna Dance Again Act 2," which only sold 57,190 copies on the first day.
The album's title track "Advice" entered other Korean music charts. SHINee Taemin's comeback song debuted at No. 3 on Bugs and No. 4 on Genie. The track then rocketed to No. 1 on Genie and VIBE.
Aside from "Advice," other songs from Taemin's new album were charting in the top 10 on Bugs after release. The song also debuted on MelOn's old real-time chart, taking the No. 38 spot.
As of the international music charts, SHINee Taemin's "Advice" entered at No. 25 on Japan's Line Music's Top 100 chart. It later peaked at No. 1 on the list.
Taemin's comeback song has also reigned as No. 1 on the daily digital album sales chart of QQ Music, China's popular music platform.
