BTOB's Eunkwang Hilariously Tells a Fan to "Give Up" by Mistake

On May 21, KST, BTOB's vocalist, Eunkwang, went on to his Instagram to do a live and spend some time with fans while having a casual chat in both Korean and English.

While doing the live broadcast, one fan in the chat told Eunkwang that she was so sad. When he was reading the comment out loud in English, Eunkwang asked her why she was sad, "Why? Why [are] you sad?"

After asking her numerous time "why," Eunkwang then made a fist with his hand and said "Give... give up!" with much energy, seemingly as a way to encourage her.

However, almost immediately after he told the fan to give up, he saw a comment telling him what "give up" really meant, to which Eunkwang burst into laughter at his mistake. He then corrected himself in panic and told the fan in haste not to give up, "Don't give up! Please don' give up!"

Eunkwang then explained that he had wanted to give the fan good energy. "What was the word... Ah, cheer up! Give up no no no, cheer up!" said Eunkwang.

Fans who witnessed the hilarious mistake burst into laughter along with the idol. After that, Eunkwang laughed at his mistake and jokingly said that he was so stupid, adding that he was disappointed with himself for his foolishness.

IU Reacts to BTOB's Eunkwang, ATEEZ's Jongho, and Stray Kids' Seungmin's Cover of "Love Poem"

On May 20 KST, Mnet aired the eighth episode of "Kingdom: Legendary War," which features the unit battle between "Mayfly," composed of BTOB's Eunkwang, ATEEZ's Jongho, and Stray Kids' Seungmin, and "It's One."

During the battle, "Mayfly" performed their own rendition of IU's "Love Poem." Their emotional rendition of the song showcased the trio's beautiful harmony that caused goosebumps to its listeners.

IU, who is the original singer of the song, shared a snippet of the performance on her Instagram Story with the caption "Goosebumps" and said that the harmony between the three was so beautiful from start to finish. She added that others must watch the full version of their performance.
