June 2021 K-pop Comebacks: EXO, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and More Set to Return This Month

Attention, K-pop fans!

June is going to be a month filled with new music by multiple K-pop groups, including some of the biggest acts like EXO, TWICE, and SEVENTEEN. These artists are expected to heat up this summer, so better not miss out on their upcoming releases.

EXO, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and More are Set to Make Their Return This June 2021

After one year and six months, EXO will finally return to the K-pop scene as a full group. Members of SM Entertainment's boy group have been enlisting in the military one after another, and this made it complicated for the boy group to make a full comeback.

But now that Xiumin and D.O. (the first two EXO members to join the army) have completed their military services, EXO will be able to make a comeback with seven members, including Lay who has been inactive in the group for three years and a half due to his solo activities in China.

On June 7, EXO will release a special album, entitled "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING," along with the music video for the album's title track where fans can see all seven members - Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Sehun, Xiumin, Lay, and Kai.

TWICE

Dubbed the "Summer Queen," TWICE will be back with new music that is expected to make summer even more fun!

This coming June 9, the nine-member girl group will drop their new summer song, titled "Alcohol-Free," alongside a music video.

"Alcohol-Free" is the title track of TWICE's new mini-album "Taste of Love," which is due out on June 11. JYP Entertainment's founder J.Y. Park was the one who composed, arranged, and wrote this song.

Expectations are high on TWICE's upcoming release as the girl group create two consecutive popular summer tracks in the past few years: "Dance the Night Away" in July 2018 and "MORE & MORE" in June 2020.

SEVENTEEN

Pledis Entertainment's "double-million seller" SEVENTEEN is also going to decorate the summer season of 2021 with another splendid music!

The 13-member boy group is set to launch their eighth mini-album, "Your Choice" on June 18.

"Your Choice" is part of SEVENTEEN's "Power of Love" project. More details about the album are yet to be announced. But according to a press release, the group will explore the idea of "Love" throughout the year.

More June 2021 Comebacks of K-pop Groups

Oui Entertainment's new idol group, WEi, will be making their second comeback with a new extended play, entitled "Identity: Action." Their EP is set for release on the same day as TWICE's "Alcohol-Free," June 9.

Brave Girls and legendary group 2PM are also included in the lineup of comebacks this June. Further information about their return will be released once finalized.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X and MAMAMOO have already dropped new music the past few days. MONSTA X returned with their ninth mini-album "One of a Kind" on June 1, while MAMAMOO launched their 11th mini-album "WAW" on June 2.

Rookie group Ghost9, on the other hand, will make a comeback later today, June 3 at 6 p.m. KST with their new mini-album "Now: When We Are in Love."
