EXO has set new YouTube records for any artist under SM Entertainment with their new title track "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING." The boy group has also successfully achieved a milestone on iTunes charts that no other SM artist has done yet this 2021.

On June 7 at 6 p.m. KST, EXO dropped the music video for their new song "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING." The MV accumulated views at an incredible speed in the following hours, breaking records of SM artists on YouTube, not only for the views but also for the likes and comments.

At 9 p.m. KST, just three hours after release, the music video for EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" reached five million views, becoming the fastest MV from SM Entertainment to do so.

EXO's new MV also broke the record of the fastest SM music video to hit one million comments on YouTube, doing so in only five hours. It is now the most-commented SM MV in 24 hours.

After six hours, "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" surpassed two million likes on YouTube. This is the shortest record for any SM music video, becoming the most liked SM MV on YouTube within 24 hours.

EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" music video went on to break more SM Entertainment YouTube records in the next hours.

It has become the fastest to reach 10 million views, doing so in just seven hours. It has also become the fastest one to reach 13 million views and 15 million views, achieving these in nine hours and 11 hours, respectively.

It remains to be unseen whether EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" could set a new YouTube record of the most views in 24 hours for any SM song.

The current holder of the most-viewed SM music video in the first 24 hours is NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" with 34.2 million views.

Meanwhile, EXO's current most-viewed MV within 24 hours is "Tempo" with 16.1 million views.

EXO Becomes First SM Artist to Land Atop iTunes Charts

Aside from SM Entertainment YouTube records, EXO has also obtained a major milestone on iTunes charts with their "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" album and its title track of the same name.

EXO's new album debuted at No. 1 on the worldwide iTunes Top Album chart, and at the same time, the track entered at No. 1 on the worldwide iTunes Top Songs chart.

With this, EXO has become the first SM artist this 2021 to land at No. 1 on the two iTunes charts simultaneously.

What's more, EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" album claimed the No. 1 position on the European Album chart. The title track also landed inside the Top 5 of the European Song chart, securing the No. 3 spot.

As of press time, EXO's "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" album has climbed to No. 1 on iTunes charts in a total of 84 countries including the main countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Thailand, and more.

With this, EXO now joins BTS as the only K-pop group to reach at least 80 No. 1s on the iTunes Album chart.

Meanwhile, the album's title track "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING" has already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs chart in 37 countries, EXO's first song to do so.
