BTS's "2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO" Sees More Than One Million People over Two Days

On June 13 and 14, BTS spent a special time with ARMYs all over the world through a fan meeting, called "BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO." This is the group's first "Muster" event in two years following their 2019 fan meet with the theme "Magic Shop."

"Musters" (which means an assembly of troops) are used to refer to BTS's fan meetings, as their fan club is called ARMY.

BTS's "2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO" was held online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The June 14 date was a "World Tour" version in which the global boy group performed a different set of songs including their English-language hits.

The event was held to commemorate the group's 8th anniversary of their debut. The fanmeet featured a colorful stage set and splendid performances by RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jimin.

The venue was decorated with several planets as the theme was "Sowozoo" (the Korean title of their song "Mikrokosmos"). Moreover, the online fan meeting featured various aspects such as the "ARMY Signals," "ARMY in Echo," and "ARMY on Air," making the event more satisfying to the audience.

BTS appeared on stage as they sang "Life Goes On," the title track of their album "BE" released in November last year. It was followed by stages of their recent digital single "Butter" and their 2020 English-language hit "Dynamite."

On top of this, the "21st Century Pop Icon" had a unit stage exclusively at their "2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO." RM, Jin, and Jungkook delivered "Stay," while Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V sang "Fly to My Room."

Furthermore, BTS's online fan meeting featured special performances of "Daechwita" and "Chicken Noodle Soup" that were both reinterpreted as a 7-person version.

Over two days, BTS sang a total of 15 songs, including encore songs, for about 130 minutes. This "2021 Muster" event gained a total of 1.33 million people in 195 countries around the world.
