The Boyz Set to Make a Comeback in August
On June 21, Cre.Ker Entertainment announced that The Boyz is scheduled to return to the K-pop scene in August and will be releasing their sixth mini-album.
The company added that they will provide further information regarding The Boyz's comeback at a later date.
From April to early June this year, The Boyz was actively competing in Mnet's "Kingdom," together with iKON, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, SF9, and BTOB.

Combining their months of hiatus and participation in the show, it has been almost a year since The Boyz carried out album promotions.
The group's last comeback is in September 2020 when they dropped their fifth mini-album "CHASE," which features the title track "The Stealer."
The Boyz achieved their best album sales, so far, with "CHASE." The mini-album was able to reach 250,000 copies on Gaon Chart and ultimately received a platinum certification.
"CHASE" is the group's first album to get certified in South Korea.
In addition to this, The Boyz broke their own record of highest first-week sales with "CHASE" in only three days. The album sold more than 200,000 copies, a total of 212,666 copies to be exact.
The Boyz's "CHASE" entered various album charts, including Gaon where it peaked at No. 2. On Oricon Chart, the album scored No. 21 as its highest rank.

When it comes to music shows, the 11-member group took home four trophies with the album's title track "The Stealer."

The Boyz's Achievements with Latest Digital Single "Kingdom Come"
As part of the final round of Mnet's "Kingdom," the participants released new digital singles.
Titled "Kingdom Come," The Boyz's entry for the show became an instant hit. The boy group ranked first on the list of digital scores for the final rankings on Mnet's "Kingdom."

Additionally, The Boyz's "Kingdom Come" has become their first release to ever take the No. 1 spot on Genie's real-time chart. The track even ranked first on the Gaon Download Chart for the week of May 30 to June 5 (23rd week of 2021).
The Boyz's "Kingdom Come" also placed third on the Gaon Download Chart for May 2021. The digital single even debuted at No. 5 on the Gaon BGM Chart and No. 107 on the Gaon Digital Chart with 18,047,127 digital points.
What's more, The Boyz made their first-ever debut inside the Top 10 of Billboard K-pop 100 with "Kingdom Come." The 11-member group entered at No. 7 on the chart (dated June 12).
"Kingdom Come" is now the act's third entry on Billboard K-pop 100 after "Checkmate" (June 2020) and "The Stealer" (October 2020), which debuted at No. 90 and No. 86, respectively.
