BTS "Butter" has now spent a total of four consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Hot 100. The single debuted atop the Billboard chart for the week of June 5 and maintained its position on the ranking ever since.

"Butter" is now BTS's longest-charting song at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100.

In 2020, BTS "Dynamite" remained in first place on the Hot 100 chart for a total of three weeks. This means "Butter" has broken this record by topping the chart four times.

BTS has now dominated Billboard Hot 100 nine times with four different songs: the remix version of "Savage Love" (1), "Life Goes On" (1), "Dynamite" (3), and "Butter" (4).

According to Billboard, BTS "Butter" is the 13th song to spend its first four weeks on Hot 100 at No. 1 out of 54 songs in history that went straight to the top.

In addition, BTS is the second overall artist to score this feat, following Olivia Rodrigo with "Drivers License."

As a group, BTS is the first one after 23 years to achieve this milestone, after Aerosmith in 1998. The septet is also the first act to do so in this 21st century.
