On June 22, GOT7 members Bambam and Yugyeom guested on MBC's radio show, "Noon Song of Hope, where they mentioned J.Y. Park and discussed their new agencies and writing songs with the radio host Kim Shinyoung.
GOT7 Bambam and Yugyeom Mention J.Y. Park on MBC's "Noon Song of Hope"
As many know, Yugyeom and Bambam debuted under J.Y. Park or Park Jinyoung's JYP Entertainment as two of the seven members of GOT7.
This past January, their seven-year exclusive contracts with the company have come to an end, and all GOT7 members decided to leave JYPE.

On MBC's "Noon Song of Hope," Bambam and Yugyeom mentioned their former boss and producer J.Y. Park during the interview.
GOT7 Yugyeom shared what Park Jin Young told him when he and his fellow members were leaving the company.
The "All Your Fault" singer said that Park warmly cheered him on and told him that he would be successful in his solo career if he would remain humble and diligent, just like he has been doing.
Meanwhile, GOT7 Bambam shared a behind-the-scenes story about him, including the song "Under the Sky" in his solo album "riBBon."
Bambam said that one time he and J.Y. Park were listening to his self-written songs while having a drink together. At that time, Park advised him to add "Under the Sky" to his album.

In a recent video uploaded to the "BamBam SPACE" YouTube channel, Bambam revealed that he wrote "Under the Sky" in early 2020, when GOT7 was still under JYP Entertainment.
He added that the original version of "Under the Sky" was "ballad." The arranged version of the track was the one included in Bambam's "riBBon" album.
GOT7 Yugyeom and Bambam Tackle New Agencies and Writing Songs on MBC's "Noon Song of Hope"
During the talks on MBC's "Noon Song of Hope," Bambam and Yugyeom also talked about their new companies and making songs.
DJ Kim Shinyoung asked the two GOT7 members to explain why they chose their new labels.
While Bambam signed with ABYSS Company, Yugyeom joined AOMG.
GOT7 Yugyeom shared that he has been listening to songs from AOMG since his pre-debut days. He added that the company and his styles of music are aligned, and so he decided to be an artist under Jay Park's AOMG.

Meanwhile, GOT7 Bambam shared that he had a lot of meetings with different companies. Among the labels, ABYSS Company stood out to him because he liked their answer when he asked what it was like to work under their agency.
Bambam also mentioned Sunmi recommending ABYSS Company to him by saying that they give a good working environment.
Yugyeom and Bambam also discussed writing and composing their own songs on Kim Shinyoung's "Noon Song of Hope."
In particular, GOT7 Yugyeom participated in composing and writing lyrics for all the songs in his solo album "Point of View: U."
Yugyeom shared that he felt more positive than burdened while creating the tracks for his album. He said that he asked Jay Park if he could feature any artist in his songs, and Park said yes right away.
As for GOT7 Bambam, he revealed that he didn't take lessons related to writing lyrics and composing while he was still under JYPE. Instead, he just found himself making music.
