Brave Girls Reveal They Have Yet to be Paid for Their Earnings This Year

During the radio broadcast, the two Brave Girls members expressed their gratefulness to their fans, Fearless, for helping them achieve a No.1 on music charts for the first time since the group's debut on April 8, 2011, immediately after the release of their mini-album "Summer Queen" that was released on June 17.

Yuna explained that they have never entered the music charts immediately after releasing their music before, and that it was hard to believe as it's such a new experience for them. Eunji also mentioned that they had only managed to place at No. 70 on the music charts during promotions for "High Heel" and that was it.

During some time in the radio broadcast, Yuna also revealed that she was able to give her parents spending money for the first time, as the members of Brave Girls were given spending money by Brave Brothers, the CEO of their label Brave Entertainment.

Yuna added and confessed that they hadn't received their payment from their earnings this year, "He [Brave Brothers] actually gave us spending money and told us to use it for whatever we needed as we move to our new dorm. We haven't been paid yet for our earnings from this year. It will be in July."

Kim Shin Young, the host of the radio program, responded by saying that the members must be waiting for the payment and asked if the members gave their spending money to their parents, to which Yuna confirmed and revealed that her mother cried as she gave the spending money to her.

Brave Girls Make Comeback with "Summer Queen" Album

Back on June 17, Brave Girls made their highly anticipated comeback with their fifth mini-album "Summer Queen" with its lead single "Chi Mat Ba Ram." Following the sudden success and re-run of "Rollin'," the four-member group hopes to establish themselves as the "Summer Queens."

Brave Girls' "Summer Queen" album consists of five songs: "Chi Mat Ba Ram," "Pool Party," "Summer by myself," "FEVER," and an English version of "Chi Mat Ba Ram." Immediately after the album's release, "Chi Mat Ba Ram" overtook multiple domestic charts such as Genie, Bugs, MelOn, Flo, and more.

In addition, Brave Girls broke their own record of gaining five million views on the music video of "Chi Mat Ba Ram" in just 17 hours, which is 365.3 times faster than their "We Ride," their previous release that took 258 days to reach to do so.

Their success can be attributed to the huge rise of domestic and international fans around the world following a video of "Rollin" that went viral on Youtube earlier this year.
