On June 27, SEVENTEEN Seungkwan did a V Live broadcast where he revealed his favorite K-pop songs. He also shared events related to the mentioned artists, capturing viewers' attention.
In the latter part of the broadcast, SEVENTEEN Seungkwan narrated an embarrassing anecdote he experienced with a popular girl group.
To fans' surprise, the "trauma" that Seungkwan was talking about occurred when SEVENTEEN's "Clap" promotions overlapped with TWICE's "LIKEY" activities in 2017.
The male idol shared he doesn't think TWICE members still remember the shameful encounter. However, on a different V Live broadcast, TWICE Momo and Nayeon talked about how they can still vividly remember the incident.
SEVENTEEN Seungkwan Reveals "Trauma" He Got after Embarrassing Encounter with TWICE
In the broadcast, Boo said, "We have a lot of activities overlapped with TWICE, but I'm not close to anyone," adding that TWICE and SEVENTEEN promotions overlapped about seven times.
He added, "It was time for us to go to the waiting room and exchange albums."
Now this was when he tried to throw a joke, saying, "If we're going to meet this often, it was a joke that felt like our companies should discuss with each other and come out differently or in sync."
It was supposed to be for laughs given how friendly and outgoing Seungkwan is, but the atmosphere, unfortunately, became awkward.
Seungkwan also added that the other SEVENTEEN members even looked at him with: "What are you saying?"
As the funny story went on, the male star mentioned that he can also still remember TWICE Momo's expression, who was then also wondering what he was talking about.
"But what's more embarrassing is that I'm the only one who remembers this. It feels more embarrassing because I don't think TWICE will remember at all. If you remember, I hope you know my intentions, and if you don't remember, just stay there."

TWICE Momo and Nayeon Confessed They Can Still Remember the Encounter with Seungkwan
On the same day, TWICE Momo and Nayeon turned on a live broadcast on its official V Live channel. The female idols then shared that they saw Seungkwan's video, and added that it happened during Inkigayo.
Momo said that both TWICE and SEVENTEEN were all flustered and that they just laughed it off after Seungkwan's remark.
Nayeon also added that they also talked about it in their green room, and Momo also explained, "I think I can't control my "eh" expression that time, that's why he probably misunderstood. We are sorry."
On the other hand, fans also think it's funny how both groups always have overlapping comebacks, and how "traumatic" it was for Seungkwan to see TWICE after the incident.
TWICE recently return with their 10th mini-album, "Taste of Love," on June 11. Following them, SEVENTEEN dropped their eighth mini-album, "Your Choice" on June 18.
