NU'EST Aron Updates Fans on His Current Condition after Experiencing Symptoms of Anxiety

NU'EST Aron, who halted his activities due to symptoms of anxiety, recently took the time to communicate with the fans and told them what his current health condition is.

In early January this year, Pledis Entertainment announced that Aron would be taking a breaking from all group activities due to health concerns.

The company revealed that NU'EST Aron told them that he was experiencing symptoms of mental anxiety, and so he was advised to have plenty of rest.

On June 29, NU'EST member Aron held a special Naver V Live broadcast, titled "I have something to say!!"

During the V Live broadcast, NU'EST Aron told the fans that there's something he wanted to tell them.

"I'm holding this livestream because I think L.O.Λ.Es (NU'EST's fan club) should know about this, as well," he added.

NU'EST Aron then told the fans about his anxiety. He said that his health has improved a lot in the past months.

The "Face" singer further stated that he discussed it with Pledis Entertainment and his fellow NU'EST members, and that he has decided to resume his activities, with his appearance on last week's "Music Bank" as the start.

NU'EST member Aron also thanked the fans for their support and apologized for making them wait so long.

He went on to say that fans need not worry anymore since he has gotten a lot better and that he will be participating in all schedules.

This will mark his return to the K-pop scene after six months of being on hiatus.

Even though he was on a temporary break, Aron participated in NU'EST's comeback this past April.

NU'EST Returns with Second Full Album "Romanticize"

On April 19, the quintet made a comeback with a new full-length album, entitled "Romanticize," their first Korean release in almost a year since their eighth mini-album "The Nocturne" in May 2020.

NU'EST "Romanticize" features the title track "Inside Out," where member Baekho participated as a lyricist and composer.

NU'EST "Inside Out" is a chill house track that contains lyrics that talk about pretending to be okay about a forthcoming breakup but later realizing your real feelings about wanting to be with your special someone.

"Romanticize" topped iTunes Album charts in seven countries and entered the Top 10 in 13 regions.

Regarding sales on Hanteo Chart, NU'EST "Romanticize" topped the weekly album sales chart for the week ending on April 25.

On the first day of sales, the boy group's full-length album sold a total of 91,416 copies, their highest record of all time.

"Romanticize" went on to sell 191,831 copies in the first week. It is now NU'EST second-highest first-week album sales on Hanteo Chart, following their previous record of 221,364 copies with "Happily Ever After" in 2019.

Over on the Gaon Chart, NU'EST scored two crowns after "Romanticize" ranked first on the album chart, and the title track "Inside Out" took first place on the download chart.
