EXO D.O. solo debut is coming! The main vocalist has officially revealed the release date of his first-ever solo album.
On July 1 at midnight KST, a black-and-white image featuring D.O. was uploaded to EXO's official SNS accounts, along with the much-awaited announcement of his solo release.

EXO D.O. Solo Debut Set or Release in Late July
After nine years since his debut in EXO, D.O. is finally releasing his first solo album.
Previously, reports stated that SM Entertainment confirmed that EXO D.O. solo album would be dropped by the end of July.

D.O., whose real name is Do Kyungsoo, first teased his solo debut this past January. The male idol held a Naver V Live broadcast upon his military discharge, and shared some details about his first-ever solo release.
At that time, EXO D.O. shared that his solo album is in the process and he is working hard on it.
In June, the "Don't Fight the Feeling" singer then took to Lysn Bubble to reveal to the fans that he has completed recording the songs for his solo album.
And today, July 1, EXO D.O. has officially announced his long-awaited solo debut.
According to EXO's SNS post, D.O.'s solo album is due out on July 26 at 6 p.m. KST. This release will be a mini-album.
News outlets say that EXO D.O.'s mini album will be titled "Empathy" and will be composed of a total of eight songs, including six new songs and a bonus track, where fans can enjoy EXO D.O.'s captivating voice.

Do Kyungsoo gained global popularity with his attractive vocals, excellent singing ability, and intense performance through EXO's activities over the years. And so, his transformation from being a group member to a solo artist is much anticipated.
Meanwhile, EXO D.O. solo debut album is open for pre-order on various online and offline music stores starting today, July 1.

EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" is the World's Best-Selling Album in Week 3 of June 2021
In other news, D.O. participated in EXO's recent comeback with the release of their special album, entitled "Don't Fight the Feeling." This is the group's first release in more than a year and a half since their 2019 album "OBSESSION."

During the week ending on June 26, EXO "Don't Fight the Feeling" is the world's best-selling album with a whopping equivalent sales of 939,000 and rose to No. 1 on the United World Chart.
This is the second biggest debut this 2021, following NCT Dream's "Hot Sauce" which sold 1,027,000 units in the week ending on May 29.
From the 939,000 sales, 902,000 of which were tallied in South Korea alone as per the Hanteo Chart.
So far, EXO has won one music show trophy for the album's title track, also titled "Don't Fight the Feeling."
On the June 18 episode of KBS2's "Music Bank," EXO "Don't Fight the Feeling" went against BTS "Butter" for first place. EXO ultimately took the victory with 6,720 points over BTS's 4,424 points.
