Ranking.net is a website that takes in users' and experts' votes into different rankings. While anyone can make an account and vote, the website also takes notes of experts who vote for the rankings. For example, one of the featured users for the K-pop girl group rankings is Mieko Sakai, a Korean entertainment writer and Korean-to-Japanese translator.
TWICE is the Most Popular Girl Group in Japan
Ranking at the top spot of this chart is none other than the JYP Entertainment superstars TWICE! Experts who voted for the K-pop group note that TWICE is a multi-national group, with members from South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, which helps their popularity.

Many noted that TWICE's visuals and features cater well to the Japanese and South Korean markets. Additionally, the group has no "visual hole," and each member compliments each other well when lined up together.
