Here's Why Epik High is Proud of Producing "Fly" Because of BTS
Back on July 1, legendary hip-hop group Epik High made a guest appearance on SBS Power FM's radio show "Cultwo Show."
During their guest appearance, the three members of Epik High -- Tablo, Mithra Jin, and DJ Tukutz, talked about their friendship with global K-Pop superstars, BTS.
Recently, a member of BTS -- suspected by fans to be RM -- shared a screenshot of them listening to Epik High's latest song release "Rain Song" on their official Twitter account. The forefront of Epik High, Tablo, said, "I'm not sure which member that was as they all shared the same account, but he posted a screenshot of himself streaming to it [the song] and we are feeling grateful for that."

Tablo continued by sharing how they are close friends with BTS. "We are actually close friends with RM and Suga. Back when both of our groups were active, they would come visit our waiting room to say hi and stuff," said Tablo.
Continuing on, Tablo recalled the time when the two BTS members had told them that they dreamed of entering the music industry after listening to one of their songs called "Fly," a song Epik High released back in 2005. Tablo then reveals his feelings, sharing that it's such an honor that "Fly" was able to somewhat help them get where BTS is now.
Tablo conluded by saying, "They have become so big globally now, it made us proud of ourselves for producing 'Fly.' It made us feel like we did a good job."

Epik High Makes Comeback With "Rain Song"
At the end of last month on June 29, Epik High made their comeback with the release of their new song called "Rain Song," which marks the first time the hip-hop group released a song that was not included in an album or as an original soundtrack for a drama or film.
In Korean, the title of the song is translated to "A song to listen to when it's raining." According to Tablo, he came up with the title of the song with the intent of it being easy to search for, such as when people search for "songs to listen to" during rainy days.
Meanwhile, prior to the release to "Rain Song," Epik High also made a comeback earlier this year on January 18 with their 10th album, "Epik High Is Here, Pt. 1."
