BTS's "Permission to Dance" music video is finally out, and it is already accumulating millions of views shortly after its release!
On July 9 at 1 p.m. KST, the septet officially released their single CD for "Butter," which together with the music video for their new song, "Permission to Dance."
In less than an hour, BTS's "Permission to Dance" MV already gained an impressive amount of views.

BTS's new song "Permission to Dance" has become a hit upon release because of the intense interest of fans around the world.

The track quickly topped the real-time charts of major Korean platforms such as Bugs and Genie. On top of that, the music video for it is gaining thousands of views by the minute.
In less than an hour, BTS's "Permission to Dance" music video exceeded 10 million views on YouTube. In particular, the milestone was reached in approximately 39 minutes.
Besides the YouTube views, the MV has also surpassed two million likes as of 3 p.m. KST on July 9.
Even before the premiere of BTS's "Permission to Dance" music video, it already garnered more than 1.25 million likes.
"Permission to Dance" was co-written and co-composed by world-renowned British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, alongside Johnny McDaid, Steve Mac, and Jenna Andrews.
It is a bright song featuring string and piano sounds. This energetic track expresses that "We don't need permission to dance."

Regarding the choreography for BTS's "Permission to Dance," it uses some sign language movements, some of which mean "fun," "dance," and "peace."
It is anticipated whether the boy group's new song will rise to the top of the Billboard chart, like their recent hit "Butter."

BTS "Permission to Dance" Tops multiple Music Charts + "Butter" CD Sells Over 200,000 Copies
A few hours after its release, BTS's new song landed on various Korean music charts.
As of 3 p.m. KST, "Permission to Dance" remained at No. 1 on Genie and Bugs and debuted at No. 82 on FLO and No. 100 on MelOn.

Aside from Korean music charts, the track also found its way to the top of the iTunes charts around the world.
As of 3 p.m. KST, BTS's "Permission to Dance" ranked first on iTunes Songs charts in 29 countries including the United States, Japan, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Turkey, Brazil, Dominican Republic, India, Singapore, and Jordan.
The track has also debuted on the iTunes chart in the United Kingdom, securing the No. 20 spot.
"Permission to Dance" has also taken the No. 1 spot on Japan's LINE Music.
Moreover, BTS currently has five songs inside the Top 10 of LINE Music's real-time chart, and these are the initial and new "Butter," "Permission to Dance," and the instrumental versions of the two aforementioned songs.
Meanwhile, BTS's "Butter" CD has already sold a total of 229,221 copies on the Hanteo Chart as of 2:40 p.m. KST.
