Known as the group's vocal line, WJSN Dawon and Yeonjung recently appeared on the KBS music program "Immortal Songs," showing their equally impressive vocals and visuals for UJUNG everywhere.
Even before the two Cosmic Girls (WJSN) members appeared, the group had enthusiastically invited their fans to come and watch their television appearance through their SNS channels.
In the "Immortal Songs" episode, participants had to sing and reinterpret singles from the Top 10 Songs vs Music Bank as a part of the show's Summer Special Episode.
The WJSN vocal line performed "Unreasonable Reason" together with DJ Koo (Koo Jun-yeop) and rapper Xitsuh, giving the 90s classic track a trap-party vibe that has sent the judges and audiences vibing with Dawon and Yeonjung nailing the vocals with high energy.
After tallying the votes, the high-energy quartet of Dawon, Yeonjung, Koo Jun-yeop and Xitsuh were announced as the winner of the "Immortal Songs" episode.
Shortly after the performance, the two WJSN members posted on the group's SNS accounts, giving fans a better look at their striking visuals.
They wrote, "It's a glorious stage with Koo Jun-yeop! Did you enjoy it? You must have been very nervous. Let's give a round of applause to Dawon and Yeonjung, who won the championship as well as a great performance."
Aside from their activities with WJSN, both vocalists have been establishing themselves as capable solo singers with their work on other projects.
Dawon, the group's main vocalist, continues with her OST performances including tracks from K-Dramas such as 2016's "Lucky Romance" and "Sweet Stranger and Me," and the 2017 Netflix hit "Revolutionary Love." She also made her acting debut as Soo Ah, the female lead from the musical film "K-School."
Meanwhile, Yeonjung has sung for the web series "Love Playlist Season 2," collaborating with Brother Su for the song "Toy." She also performed the title track for the 2017 OCN drama "MeloHolic," the 2018 drama "Where Stars Land," 2019's "Melting Me Softly," and the 2020 "More Than Friends."
