BTS Jimin, EXO Baekhyun, & More Enter Top 20 'Male Idols with Highest Accumulated Brand Reputation Index' So Far

In the first half of 2021, male idols BTS Jimin, ASTRO Eunwoo, SHINee Minho, EXO Baekhyun, and more received the highest accumulated brand reputation index among other male K-pop stars! Read more to know who made it into the Top 20.

As of July 27, members from K-pop groups BTS, ASTRO, SHINee, EXO, and more were hailed as the male idols with the highest accumulated brand reputation index (BRI) so far!

The results came from the cumulative BRI of hundreds of K-pop male idols, which the counting period started from January to July 2021.

BTS Dominates List of Male Idols with Highest Accumulated BRI So Far This 2021

As of July, BTS Jimin reigned as No.1 after gaining 42,480,987 brand index points. In particular, the male idol has been consistently ranking at the top spot for 31st consecutive months – proving how much Koreans love the "Filter" singer.

The brand reputation index is collected and analyzed from consumers' awareness, participation, media coverage, and communication. It is one of the indicators of how popular and shows the level of consumers' trust they have for that K-pop idol within that month.

Along with Jimin, BTS members V, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, RM, and J-Hope joined him in the list wherein they ranked from third place to eighth place, respectively.

ASTRO Eunwoo, EXO Baekhyun, & More: Top 20 Male Idols with Highest Cumulative BRI in the First Half of 2021

Trailing behind Jimin, ASTRO Eunwoo proved his fame and success as No. 2 with 36,109,242 points. Since the start of the year, the idol-actor has been securing his spot in the top five, ranking No. 4 for this month's BRI rankings.

SHINee Minho then showcased his unwavering popularity after ranking ninth place. He's the only second-generation idol who made it into the top 10.

Also, his co-member Taemin, despite currently serving in the military, entered No. 15.

Speaking of second-gen idols, legendary idols such as Super Junior Heechul, BIGBANG G-Dragon, 2PM Junho, TVXQ Yunho, and HIGHLIGHT Yang Yoseop dominated the top 20 as well, exhibiting the power of second-generation idols amidst the current K-pop era.

EXO Baekhyun ranked 10th, who also showed impressive records this 2021. Aside from luxury brand deals, he also became one of the most influential stars in the first half of the year, according to Forbes.

In particular, he released his latest album, "Bambi," prior to military enlistment in late March, recording 1 million copies, the fourth best-selling album in Korea this 2021.

Lastly, fellow EXO member Kai and NCT Mark & Jungwoo, then AB6IX Daehwi completed the top 20 male idols with the highest accumulated BRI so far.
