Dreamcatcher's new album "Summer Holiday" has attained the group's new best record in terms of first-day sales.
On July 30, the seven-member girl group returned with their special mini-album, "Summer Holiday," which was released along with the music video for the title track, "BEcause."
On the same day, Hanteo Chart unveiled how many copies of Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" were sold, and it is the band's best record to date.
Dreamcatcher "Summer Holiday" Obtains Highest First-Day Sales for the Group
"Summer Holiday" is the septet's first album in six months since their comeback in January with their sixth EP "Dystopia: Road to Utopia."
At the same time as their comeback (6 p.m. KST), Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" already surpassed 30,000 copies sold on the Hanteo Chart.

It went on to sell more thousands of copies in the following hours, and as of 7:20 p.m. KST, the special mini-album sold 39,408 copies were recorded.
Overall, Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" had a total of 47,331 copies for their first-day sales on the Hanteo Chart.
This is a new record for the girl group since their debut. Their previous first-day sales record was set by their sixth EP, "Dystopia: Road to Utopia," which sold 45,563 copies on Jan. 26.

"Dystopia: Road to Utopia" is Dreamcatcher's first-ever album to sell more than 45,000 copies, and now the band has two albums to achieve the feat, with the latest one being "Summer Holiday."
As of 11 a.m. KST on July 31, the group's special mini-album has sold 669 more copies.
On the Hanteo Chart, Dreamcatcher has now exceeded 300,000 copies with all of their albums.
In addition to Hanteo, "Summer Holiday" also entered the real-time tally of the Gaon Retail Album Chart. At approximately 9 p.m. KST, the special mini-album sold 36,978 copies, taking the No. 1 spot.

Dreamcatcher "Summer Holiday" and "BEcause" Land on Domestic and International Music Charts
While the group's special mini-album continuously sells more copies, it has landed on album charts.
Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" entered at No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart for July 30 update. It was the highest-ranking album by a Korean act on that day.
"Summer Holiday" has also ranked third on the European iTunes Album Chart, while it took No. 14 on the US iTunes Album Chart.
On the iTunes Top 100 K-pop Albums Chart, Dreamcatcher's "Holiday" currently sits at No. 1.

Apart from the album, its title track "BEcause" is also performing well on music charts.
Shortly after release, Dreamcatcher's "BEcause" debuted at Nos. 2 and 238 on the real-time chart of Bugs and Genie, respectively.
As of 8 a.m. KST on July 31, "BEcause" rose to No. 1 on Bugs. Meanwhile, the song has already reached more than 3,000 likes on MelOn.
Dreamcatcher's "BEcause" also made it to the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart, claiming the No. 40 spot.
On the US iTunes Song Chart, "BEcause" jumped 59 spots to No. 100, while it grabbed the No. 4 spot on iTunes Top 100 K-pop Songs Chart.
