Soloist Jessi reportedly gained 24,282 new followers in July 2021, according to K-Pop Radar. By the end of the month, the former "Unpretty Rapstar" contestant had a total of 7,372,349 followers.
13. NCT
The main NCT account reportedly garnered 24,457 new followers in July 2021. By the end of the month, the SM Entertainment boy group had a total of 11,033,765 followers.
12. SEVENTEEN Hoshi
Hoshi, who is still new to the Instagram game, garnered 24,538 new followers in July 2021. By the end of the month, SEVENTEEN's performance unit leader had a total of 731,367 followers on her personal Instagram account.
11. Jeon Somi
Jeon Somi, who just made her return to the music scene with "Dumb Dumb," gained 25,916 new followers in July 2021. The soloist had a total of 9,438,552 followers by the end of the month.

The official Instagram account of BLACKPINK, which is run by their label YG Entertainment, reportedly gained 29,007 new followers in July 2021. By the end of the month, BLACKPINK's main account had a total of 39,744,087 followers.
7. NCT Taeil
NCT's oldest member Taeil ranked in seventh place, garnering 47,225 followers. By the end of the month, the "Punch" singer had a total of 2,243,833. Previously, he made headlines for being the fastest individual to garner a million Instagram followers.

Mark is the highest-ranking individual male idol on the list. The "Kick It" rapper garnered 49,788 new followers in July 2021. By the end of the month, the super idol had a total of 5,907,490 followers on his personal Instagram account.
4. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie ranked at fifth place, reportedly gaining 53,155 new followers in July 2021. The "SOLO" singer had a total of 48,736,605 followers on her personal Instagram account, according to K-Pop Radar, by the end of the month.
3. BLACKPINK Rosé
BLACKPINK member Rosé ranked at third place, reportedly amassing 54,717 new followers in July 2021. The "On The Ground" songstress had a total of 43,857,506 followers on her Instagram account by the end of the month.
2. BTS
BTS is the highest-ranking group account on the list, ranking in second place. The HYBE Labels boy group gained 64,560 new followers in July 2021. The "Permission to Dance" singers had a total of 46,920,607 followers on their Instagram account by the end of the month.
1. BLACKPINK Lisa
Taking the throne as the idol who gained the most Instagram followers in July 2021 is BLACKPINK member Lisa, who gained 71,653 followers. By the end of the month, the Thai idol had a total of 56,556,548 followers on her Instagram account. She is the most followed idol on Instagram and the first idol to surpass 50 million and 55 million followers on the platform.
