Brave Girls was reportedly returning this August with a new album, and their company, Brave Entertainment, has since responded to the news.
On Aug. 4, the Korean media outlet YTN Star reported that the four-member girl group will be making a comeback this month with a new album.
Brave Entertainment later released a brief statement addressing the report.
Brave Girls Reportedly Dropping a Repackaged Album this August + Brave Entertainment Comments
According to YTN Star, Brave Girls will release a new album in mid-August. However, the group would not be promoting their upcoming album through music shows.
In response to this, an official from Brave Entertainment told YTN Star that it is true Brave Girls will make a comeback this August and it will come with the release of a repackaged album.

The representative said that the upcoming album will be the repackaged version of Brave Girls' "Summer Queen," which features the title song "Chi Mat Ba Ram."
The Brave Entertainment official, however, didn't confirm whether Brave Girls' repackaged album is due out in mid-August as the exact release date is yet to be finalized.
"Summer Queen" is Brave Girls' latest album that was dropped on June 17, along with the music video for the title track "Chi Mat Ba Ram." This is the quartet's first album in almost four years since their 2017 album "Rollin'."

Additionally, "Summer Queen" is the group's album as a four-member girl group, since member Hayun left the group due to health reasons.
Brave Girls' comeback with their new mini-album was a success as they were able to sell tens of thousands of copies and the album's title song made it to domestic charts.

Brave Girls' "Summer Queen" Becomes Their Best-Selling Album on the Hanteo Chart
Brave Girls' new mini-album "Summer Queen" was officially released on June 17. It contains a total of five tracks, including the title song "Chi Mat Ba Ram" and its English version.
On the same day, the album skyrocketed to No. 1 on the domestic daily album charts, particularly on the Hanteo and Gaon charts.
Over on the Hanteo Chart, Brave Girls' "Summer Queen" recorded a total of 28,719 copies sold and took the No. 1 spot on the album rankings on the day of its release. This is their highest first-day sales since their debut.

"Summer Queen" also placed first on the Gaon Retail Album Chart for June 17 after selling 27,922 copies on that day.
In the first week, Brave Girls' new mini-album reached 60,940 copies on the Hanteo Chart. This is the group's best record for first-week sales since their debut.
Considering its impressive cumulative sales on Hanteo, "Summer Queen" becomes the quartet's best-selling album on the platform.
Furthermore, Brave Girls' "Summer Queen" ranked fourteenth on the Gaon Retail Album Chart for June 2021, with a total of 71,379 copies sold. This sales figure shows the group's striking growth in popularity as their previous album, "Rollin'" only sold 1,091 copies on Gaon within one month.
