Dreamcatcher has obtained a new personal record in terms of their first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart. The septet has also broken the fifth-highest sales in the first week for a K-pop girl group this 2021.
On Aug. 6, Hanteo Chart officially unveiled the result of Dreamcatcher's first-week sales with their special mini-album "Summer Holiday. The counting period took place from July 30 to Aug. 5.
Dreamcatcher Attains New Personal First-Week Sales, Breaks the Fifth-Highest Record for a Girl Group This 2021
Based on Hanteo Chart's data, Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" impressively sold more than 40,000 copies in just one day. This is the highest daily sales of the group from July 30 to Aug. 5.

More copies of "Summer Holiday" were sold on the following six days, with their second-highest daily sales being on Aug. 2 with 10,063 copies.
During the first week of sales of Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday," the album ranked first on Hanteo Chart's daily rankings for two consecutive days, particularly on July 30 and 31.
On Aug. 5, a total of 8,486 more copies were tallied. The total first-week sales for "Summer Holiday" summed up 75,551 copies, becoming the group's first and fastest album to sell more than 70,000 in the first seven days.
With this, Dreamcatcher has broken their personal record for the highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart. "Summer Holiday" has surpassed "Road to Utopia," which only sold 64,596 copies.
On Hanteo's weekly physical album chart for the fifth week of July 2021, Dreamcatcher's special mini-album ranked second.

On top of this, Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" now holds the record for the fifth-highest first-week sales on Hanteo among 2021 girl group albums.
The septet beat Oh My Girl, who sold over 69,000 copies of their eighth extended play "Dear OhMyGirl."
Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" is just less than 1,000 copies from the fourth placer, which is LOONA.
LOONA's "[&]" sold more than 76,000 copies on the Hanteo Chart in the first week.

Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" is the Second-Best-Selling Album on Gaon Chart
Aside from Hanteo Chart, Dreamcatcher's special mini-album is also ranking high on the Gaon Chart, particularly on the main and retail album rankings.
For Week 31 of 2021 (July 25 to 31), Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" ranked second on the Gaon Retail Album Chart, becoming the highest-ranking group album in that week.
According to Gaon, "Summer Holiday" sold a total of 38,105 copies. It is one of the only two albums to sell more than 20,000 copies that week, with the other one being EXO D.O.'s "Empathy," which sits at No. 1 with 203,338 copies.

For Week 31 as well, Dreamcatcher's "Summer Holiday" entered at No. 2, again following EXO D.O.'s "Empathy" at No. 1. This is the group's tenth Top 10 on the Gaon Album Chart.
In addition to this, the album's title track, "BEcause," landed on the Gaon Download Chart. The song charted inside the Top 50, taking the No. 36 position.
