BLACKPINK member Lisa is gearing for her solo debut, and her Chinese fanbase is ready to support... with $1 million, of course. Keep on reading for all the details!
BLACKPINK Lisa Chinese Fanbase Saves $1 Million To Support Idol's Solo Debut
After a long time of waiting, YG Entertainment finally gave a sign that BLACKPINK member Lisa's solo debut will be pushing through. On the evening of August 22, the company shared the first teaser for the idol's solo debut. Though the teaser did not include any information about the title song, the comeback date, and the release time, the poster still made fans feel secure — it is a sign that Lisa's debut is definitely coming soon.
After YG Entertainment shared the teaser, fans of Lisa quickly got to work. LISABAR, the largest fanbase for Lisa in China, announced that the donation fund for the idol had hit 10 million yuan, which is approximately $1,544,044 in US dollars. With a significant capital force and a reputation for being big spenders, it is no surprise that Lisa's Chinese fanbase was able to quickly secure such a large amount of money.

They are a fanbase that is known to take action anytime to support their idol, after all!
This is not the first time LISABAR proved their spending power. When BLACKPINK's first full-length studio album, "THE ALBUM," was released in October 2020, Lisa's Chinese fanbase was the one that bought the most albums compared to other individual fanbases of the other members.
The two biggest Lisa fan clubs in China, LISABAR and LISACHINA, bought 131,021 copies of "THE ALBUM," contributing to about 22% of BLACKPINK's total album sales. With a price of 20,000 KRW per album, the two Chinese fanbases spent a whopping 2.6 billion won for their albums.

People suspect that the $1,544,044 they have saved for Lisa is just for the beginning stages of her debut. Many believe that if Lisa had any activities that involved the purchase of a good or a service, they would not hesitate to spill thousands (maybe even millions!) of dollars just to support their idol.
