Among the current generation of K-pop girl groups, aespa reigned as the "Advertising Queens" following back-to-back brand deals. It's been only nine months since the "monster rookie" group was launched, but the luxury house and major brands who selected them as models and ambassadors are already piling up!

On August 26, aespa made numerous headlines in the Korean media and community as they were named as the "Blue Chip" of the advertising industry.

In particular, the quartet who released hit tracks "Black Mamba" and "Next Level" rapidly emerged in the advertising field after nine months since its debut.

As of now, the faces of aespa – comprised of Karina, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing – are all over several advertising sections including beauty, luxury, clothes, communication, games, and more!

On this day, various Korean media outlets released articles highlighting aespa as the "Blue Chip" in the advertising world.

In context, a "blue chip" is the chip with the highest value. This term was used to describe how aespa as models, secure profitability, stability, and growth to one's company.

Moreover, brand officials also described the four-member group as the hottest idols saying, "As the hottest idol these days, aespa is getting good responses and popularity from all regardless generations – for their confidence, trendy and attractive charms. By signing a contract with CAA, the largest agency in the U.S. we also expect that they will show good synergy in the global market as well as in Korea."

aespa Rose as Hottest Advertising Models in Nine Months Since their Debut

With their unique worldview and image, aespa was selected as the first-ever K-pop group ambassador of French luxury brand Givenchy.

This is a huge achievement for the group as they became luxury brand ambassadors in just three months since SM Entertainment launched the group – indeed proving their power.

In August 2021, they continue to establish their position in the advertisement world after announcing four brand deals consecutively.

On the 6th, aespa was selected as the endorsement model of Clio, one of the largest cosmetics brands in Korea.

On the 24th, Mediheal, the No. 1 best-selling sheet mask brand in Korea, also selected the quartet as its new brand models.

Mediheal representative said, "We expect that 'Super Rookie' aespa, which will lead the next K-pop culture, will be able to create good synergy in K-beauty trends and global markets as well as in Korea. We will step up efforts to announce the brand change that will begin in earnest next year."

On this day, aespa is introduced by outdoor fashion brand Eider as its new advertisement model. It is aespa's first outdoor advertising model activity, as they emerge as a trendsetter by dominating music charts at home and abroad, raising expectations from fans.

With these numerous brand deals, aespa's popularity is expected to continuously skyrocket as they also prepare for their much-awaited album.
