Which Konkuk University K-Pop Idol Alumni are Considered Face Geniuses?

On August 27, 2021, YouTube channel AYO invited two Konkun University students to answer comments about the university for their "Comment Defenders" series. The two students are Lee Jung Bin, class of 2020, and Nah Da Som, class of 2021. Both students are student ambassadors of the university.

After answering a series of questions concerning how their university lives were impacted due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the two stumbled upon a comment that reads, "Konkuk University graduates are national treasure face geniuses. It is amazing. I think they have more good-looking people than the Seoul Institute of the Arts (SOPA)."

After reading this comment, Nah Da Som revealed how proud she was of this comment. She then proceeded to name actors who are face geniuses who studied in the school, such as Yoo Ah In, Lee Min Ho, and Go Kyung Pyo.

Nah Da Som then started to name idols who are alumni of the school. The first idol mentioned is TWICE member Nayeon. Nayeon entered Konkuk University in 2014 and majored in film. After debuting in TWICE in 2015, she took a leave of absence from the university to focus on her idol activities. In 2017, she revealed she would be returning to her studies, though it is unknown if she ever did so.

The next idol mentioned was BTS member Jin! The idol entered Konkuk University despite his hectic schedule as a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment. Majoring in art and acting, Jin graduated from Konkuk University on February 22, 2017. At the time of his graduation, BTS was promoting "You Never Walk Alone" and embarking on a world tour.

Following Jin was Girl's Day member Hyeri! After graduating high school in SOPA, Hyeri enrolled in Konkuk University in 2013 and majored in Film. When she entered the university, Hyeri was already a bonafide celebrity — she made her acting debut in "Tasty Life" in 2012 and had debuted with Girl's Day in 2010.

The final idol mentioned was SHINee member Minho! The idol first attended high school in Konkuk University's affiliated high school and graduated in 2010. After that, he took the college admissions and was admitted to the university's part-time admittance for the arts and culture film major. Minho graduated in 2015.

Konkuk University Reveal Which Class They Would Want To Be Instead of 2021 — Their Answers Show They Are K-Pop Stans

After answering the previous question, the two were asked which class they would want to be in instead of 2021.

Nah Da Som revealed she would want to join the year BTS member Jin enrolled in Konkuk University. She recalled a story she heard during his time in college and how someone had run into him in the elevator. How heart-fluttering!

Lee Jung Bin replied that he would want to enter university the same year TWICE member Nayeon did! He joked around, saying that he would get an F for sure if they were in the same class. "I can give up my grades for her!" said Lee Jung Bin.
