Following Genshin Impact's 2.1 updates, many are starting to believe that the video game may be planning a collaboration with the K-pop girl group TWICE! Keep on reading for all the details.
Is Genshin Impact Hinting at a Collaboration With K-Pop Girl Group TWICE?
On September 1, 2021, Genshin Impact released their highly anticipated 2.1 updates. Gamers have been waiting for this update for months. It introduced new islands to one of the game's country's, Inazuma, and introduced two new playable characters: the Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara.
One of the new updates features an area called Seirai Island. In Amakumo Peak, gamers quickly spotted a wooden door with a familiar branding. Many people believe that the branding had an uncanny similarity to TWICE's official logo due to its loop and curl. As it closely resembles a cursive T, many believe that it hints at a collaboration with K-pop girl group TWICE!

Another hint that has led people to believe that TWICE may be working with Genshin Impact is due to an introduction of a new dish. In the 2.1 updates of the game, miHoYo (the developers of the game) introduced a new dish called "More-and-More." It is Genshin Impact's take on Japan's famous okonomiyaki and entails the user to find fish, bacon, lavender melon, and flour. In addition, the food in the game gives the player a buff, increasing their physical damage for 300 seconds.
According to the official description of the dish in-game, it was given the name "More-and-More" because "the more ingredients, the merrier." However, some people believe miHoYo gave the dish this name as homage to TWICE's June 2020 release, "MORE & MORE."
As of press time, neither miHoYo nor JYP Entertainment has released a statement on this potential collaboration.
