BTS Vocal Coach Reveals Just How Amazing Jin and V Are
On September 6, the YouTube channel "FO Squad Kpop" uploaded a new video. In the said video, the duo is seen interviewing Kim Sung Eun, BTS's vocal coach. During the interview, Kim Sung Eun was asked whether it was hard or easy to give lessons to the HYBE Labels boy group members.
Kim Sung Eun then revealed that she had trained Jin, Jungkook, and V ever since they were all trainees. She confesses that it was very difficult for her to teach them when they were just starting out. However, that changed as they continued to train. With their hard work and dedication, the members all became terrific vocalists.
When asked who was the easiest to train between Jin, Jungkook, and V, Kim Sung Eun answered without a moment's hesitation. She revealed the easiest member of BTS to teach was Jin!
During the interview, Kim Sung Eun shared a story about V that happened right before "FAKE LOVE" was released. She revealed that when she first heard the guide for "FAKE LOVE," she immediately loved the song but noted that the notes for the track were extremely high.
At that time, V has sent her a text message asking for vocal lessons with her. Kim Sung Eun stated that she was shocked by the unexpected request for lessons, as the two usually just meet for lunch or dinner to catch up outside of class and training. It turns out that V had wanted to practice hitting the high notes, and he had asked their vocal coach lots of questions so that he could perform to the best of his ability.
Following "FAKE LOVE," V was able to reach even higher notes. It was then when Kim Sung Eun realized how much time and effort V puts into his vocal training. She credits V's dedication to the reason why he is improving so rapidly.
