Weverse to Release Special BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, and ENHYPEN Credit Cards

Weverse credit cards of HYBE Labels artists such as BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, and ENHYPEN will soon be available to Korean fans.

On Sept. 16, Shinhan Co., South Korea's largest card company, announced that they have signed a special partnership called PLCC (private label credit card) with Weverse Company, a subsidiary of HYBE.

Through this agreement, the card company will design exclusive credit cards inspired by the aforementioned K-pop groups that are associated with Weverse.

The card will be officially called "Weverse Shinhan Card," and it is a product for the fandom of the HYBE Labels artists who entered the Weverse Shop. Fans can apply for either debit or credit cards.

The Weverse Shinhan Card will come with a photo plate containing images that symbolize the four K-pop boy groups and their fandoms: BTS and ARMY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and MOA, SEVENTEEN and CARAT, and ENHYPEN and ENGENE.

When the light reflects on the Weverse credit cards, the hidden logo of the group appears and the image changes depending on the viewing angle.

Fans can obtain a photo plate for a debit card with a fee of 15,000 won. For a credit card, if fans pay an issuance fee of 100,000 won, an additional photo plate made of metal will be provided.

After issuance, the Weverse Shinhan Card of BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, and ENHYPEN will be automatically registered in the Weverse Shop, allowing fans to enjoy easy payment. Not only will fans get benefits from Weverse Shop but also for their daily life using the cards.

The combined limit for Weverse credit cards is up to 70,000 won while for Weverse debit cards, it will be up to 30,000 won per month, depending on the amount used in the previous month.

In addition to this, when paying at the museum shop at HYBE INSIGHT, credit card holders can have a 50% discount, while debit cardholders have a 25% discount.

The Weverse Shinhan Card is reported to be released in the second half of this year.

After debuting at No. 5 on Billboard 200, "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" has now become the first 2021 album by a K-pop artist to stay for 12 weeks on the chart.

For the week ending on Sept. 18, TXT's second studio album placed No. 78 on the Billboard chart, extending its record as the longest-running 2021 K-pop album.

TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" has also extended its record as the longest-charting 2021 K-pop album on other Billboard charts, including the Top Album Sales (No. 7 in its 14th week), Top Current Album Sales (No. 7 in its 15th week), and World Albums (stayed at No. 2 in its 15th week).

Moreover, the studio album ranked fourth on the Billboard Tastemaker Albums Chart this week.
