Suga Responds to Malicious Comments about BTS Not Fitting to Join the UN General Assembly

BTS Suga gave the best response to malicious comments about his boy group not belonging to the United Nations General Assembly.

On Sept. 20, BTS participated in the 76th UN General Assembly, marking their third appearance at the event. But, it was the septet's first official event after President Moon Jae In appointed them special presidential envoys last week.

At the Sustainable Development Goals Moment at the UN General Assembly, BTS earned praises from fans across the globe not only for their visuals but also for their meaningful speech.

Aside from praises, there were also malicious comments about BTS as some people wonder why a K-pop boy group or singers were included on the list of attendees.

BTS Suga Addresses Malicious Comments that Say BTS Doesn't Belong in the UN General Assembly

On Sept. 22, BTS had the time to communicate with ARMYs through Naver V LIVE to celebrate Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).

During the live broadcast, BTS Suga addressed some malicious comments related to their appearance at the UN General Assembly. He mentioned the fact that some people were questioning why BTS was invited to the event, taking into account that they are singers and not politicians.

Suga stated, "At first, people were like 'Aren't you singers? Why would you go there? What would you do?' Actually, we are aware of that, and we went there for that role."

He added that BTS attended the UN General Assembly to support the Sustainable Development Goals. "We went there to do our job as special envoys," he explained.

BTS Suga went on to say that he didn't mind what other people were thinking since they were at the event to support a crucial issue.

He further stated, "You don't need to have a bias," which he is pertaining to the fact that people don't have to consider their appearance from a biased perspective when attending the UN General Assembly.

BTS Admires Luxurious Villa Established Just for Them in First "In the SOOP" Season 2 Teaser

In other news, BTS has shared a sneak peek of the second season of BTS's "In the SOOP" on Sept. 22.

BTS's "In the SOOP Season 2" is a reality show that will feature them relaxing in a personalized villa resort with deluxe amenities designed exclusively for them.

In the released teaser video for the second season, fans get their first look at the lovely place where BTS will be spending their time together. The space was constructed exclusively for BTS, according to the caption.

The clip went back to 90 days before BTS arrived at the villa resort, which according to the caption, took one year to be completed.

While the video shows the construction of the villa resort, the voices of BTS members can be heard in the background. Jimin said that there is a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a basketball court at the site.

J-Hope commented that it felt like a mansion, while Jin said that he sees it as a castle. V then stated that he felt like it was a secret place that he wanted only BTS to know about.
