BTS arrived in Korea on September 24 after the septet completed their schedule as the special presidential envoy who represented youth from all over the world. They attended the UN General Assembly and delivered artworks made by Korean artisans to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
BTS Comes Home After Successful Participation at the 76th United Nations General Assembly
BTS, alongside President Moon Jae-In, delivered a speech during the opening session of the 76th UN General Assembly Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Moment," followed by an interview with US ABC, then they visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This year, BTS delivered a message at the UB for the third time, the first was in 2018 then in 2020.
In 2018, their leader, RM, captured the hearts of people worldwide when he said "Let the young generation around the world love themselves and make their voices be heard!"
In 2020, a difficult time for everyone because of the pandemic, BTS said, "The deeper the night, the brighter the starlight. On this road together, if you can't see the stars, let's rely on the moonlight. Life will continue, let's live together."
Now, instead of giving a message based on their own experiences, BTS gave a speech that expresses the story of future generations as what they are.

BTS Schedule in New York: UN General Assembly + Visit at The Met
As soon as their arrival in the United States, the boys, who started with their UN General Assembly Performance filming and completed their envoy schedule, conducted Naver V LIVE last September 22.
Not only did BTS serve as a special envoys that represent the youth and future generations, they also performed the role of a K-culture messenger to spread Korean culture.
After their speech at the UN General Assembly, they visited the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the biggest art museums in the United States and one of world's top three. They looked around the place and they delivered Korean crafts to the Korean section of the gallery.
BTS was very busy until the last day of the special activity. They also made a surprising visit to the Korean Cultural Center in New York. They expressed their pride because there is a place where Korean culture can be experienced in another country.
