aespa is consistently securing a spot on the MelOn Chart with their latest hit single "Next Level." With that, the quartet has set another record in terms of the number of weeks to stay inside the Top 10.
aespa's "Next Level" was initially released on May 17 of this year, and it is a remake of the original soundtrack (also called "Next Level") for the American film "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw."
Since it came out, aespa's song has never left several Korean music charts, including MelOn, which is the largest streaming platform in South Korea.

In particular, aespa's "Next Level" remains inside the MelOn Top 10. It stayed strong in its previous spot, which is No. 3, becoming the only K-pop group song to rank within the Top 5 in the previous week.
It is also one of the only three idol groups songs to secure a spot within the Top 10, the others being BTS's "Permission to Dance" (No. 6) and "Butter" (No. 8).
With its latest entry on the Korean music chart, aespa's "Next Level" has now spent a total of 20 weeks within MelOn Top 10. It is the first idol group song to achieve this milestone this 2021.
Because of this, aespa's song is now the longest-running track by a K-pop group within the Top 10 of the MelOn Chart this year.
Moreover, "Next Level" becomes the second 2021 K-pop song to spend at least 20 weeks inside the MelOn Top 10, following IU's "Celebrity."
On top of this, aespa's "Next Level" becomes the second girl group song to stay for at least 20 weeks within the Top 10 of the MelOn Chart in history.
