BTS and Coldplay's collaboration single "My Universe" enters the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1!

According to Billboard, "My Universe" secured the first spot on Hot 100 with 11.5 million streams in the United States, 5.5 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 127,000 physical singles and downloads combined.

Released on Sept. 24, "My Universe" becomes BTS's sixth song to claim the No.1 place on Billboard Hot 100, which ranks songs based on their sales, online streaming, and radio play in the United States.

The first five BTS songs to top the said Billboard chart are "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren beat)" with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, "Butter," and "Permission to Dance."
So far, BTS has achieved six No. 1s on Hot 100 in a year and just over a month. This makes the septet the first and fastest artist to attain this milestone this 21st century.
BTS is also the second-fastest artist to have six No. 1s on Billboard Hot 100 in history after The Beatles, who recorded one year and two weeks in 1964-66.

"My Universe" is also BTS's fifth song to debut at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, making BTS the first band in history to earn five No. 1 debuts on the chart.

For the overall record including soloists, BTS ties with Drake and Ariana Grande in recording five No. 1 debuts on Hot 100.
In addition to this, "My Universe" becomes the first-ever song to score No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 with two groups as the lead singers.
For Coldplay, "My Universe" becomes their second No. 1 song on the US chart after "Viva La Vida" in 2008.
BTS Extends Record with the Most No. 1s on Digital Song Sales chart with 'My Universe'
Aside from Hot 100, BTS x Coldplay's "My Universe" also made it to this week's Digital Song Sales Chart.
"My Universe" ranked first on the digital song sales chart, becoming BTS's ninth No. 1 on the chart. The K-pop boy group has now extended their record for the group with the most No. 1s on the tally.
Additionally, BTS now ties with Taylor Swift as the artist with the most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales Chart. They both spent 44 weeks atop the rankings.

What's more, BTS x Coldplay's "My Universe" also debuted on Billboard Global 200 at No. 1.
