aespa's "Savage" has achieved the highest rank among albums by female K-pop artists on Billboard 200 in history!
On Oct. 16, Hits Daily Double predicted that aespa's first mini-album will debut at No. 23 of the popular Top 200 Albums chart, a weekly ranking of the most famous albums in the United States. But, aespa attained a slightly higher position.

On Oct. 17 local time, Billboard revealed that aespa's "Savage" had landed at No. 20 on Billboard 200.
"Savage" is just the rookie girl group's first physical album since their debut, but it managed to land inside the Top 20 of the US album chart, showing a good start for the quartet.

With this new milestone, aespa has broken a few records in K-pop. First, they have become the fastest girl group to enter the Billboard 200 chart, doing so in only 11 months since their debut in November 2020.
Second, aespa's "Savage" has now claimed the record for the highest-charting debut album by a female K-pop artist. It surpassed BLACKPINK's "SQUARE UP," which entered at No. 40 on Billboard 200, dated June 30, 2018.
Among debut albums by all K-pop groups, "Savage" is now the second-highest-ranking, bested only by SuperM's "SuperM," which placed No. 1 on the US album chart, dated Oct. 10, 2019.

aespa is now officially added to the list of female K-pop artists in history that have landed on Billboard 200. This list includes BoA, 2NE1, Girls' Generation, Girls' Generation- TTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, ITZY, and LOONA.
Furthermore, aespa's "Savage" was the second best-selling album of the week in the US. It grabbed the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart for the week ending on Oct. 23.
On Oct. 16, Hits Daily Double unveiled that "Savage" sold 17.9K in total activity in the first week since its release.

aespa Savage Surpasses Irene & Seulgi Monster as the 2nd Longest-Charting SM Song on Spotify Global Chart
Meanwhile, "Savage" is continuously ranking on the Spotify Global Top 200 chart. The song rose to No. 176 on the daily chart, dated Oct. 16, with 814,044 streams.
With its latest ranking on the Spotify global chart, aespa's "Savage" has now spent 11 days since it first entered the chart at No. 121 on Oct. 6 with over 853,000 streams.

"Savage" is now the second-longest-running song by an SM artist on the Spotify Global Top 200 chart. It has beaten "Monster" by Red Velvet Irene & Seulgi, which only spent 10 days on the tally.
aespa's new song now follows Red Velvet's "Psycho," which stayed on the Spotify chart for 49 days.
Meanwhile, aespa's "Savage" ranked second on the Spotify South Korea Daily Chart with more than 14,600 streams.
As of writing, "Savage" has gained over 12.5 million streams on Spotify, the third-highest streams among aespa's songs.
