CL's Full-Length Album 'ALPHA' Tops Multiple Countries Worldwide on iTunes Top Albums
On October 20 at 1pm KST, former 2NE1 leader CL released her new and first studio album "ALPHA," which contains a total of 11 tracks: "Spicy," "Lover Like Me," "Chuck," "Xai," "Let It," "Tie a Cherry," "Paradise," "My Way," "Siren," "Hwa," and " 5 Star."
Following the album's release on the same day, "ALPHA" topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 13 different countries and regions, including Denmark, Cambodia, Mongolia, Philippines, Portugal, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Brazil, Greece, Colombia, Turkey and Vietnam.
After a day of its release, "ALPHA" proved its worldwide popularity by entering within the Top 10 of iTunes Top Albums chart in 31 different countries and regions, including the United States, Italy, Spain, Canada, and the United Kingdom, among many others.
Not only that, but "ALPHA" also took the second spot on the iTunes Worldwide Albums chart, while it took the top spot on iTunes Pop Album Chart in the United States and ranked at No. 3 in the country's Top Albums chart.

Meanwhile, "ALPHA," which is CL's second album as a solo artist, expresses the story of CL starting anew and contains songs that hope to encourage its listeners through CL's confident attitude as she starts walking her own path.
In particular, CL participated in the writing and composing of all of the songs, showing her devotion to the album.
In addition, CL will also be dropping a special video in celebration of the album's release. On October 21, CL will release the live performance video from the "ALPHA" album.
According to CL's announcement, the video will be released in advance on CL's Naver V Live channel at 11am KST, while it will be released on CL's official Youtube channel at 1pm KST.
To promote her new album, CL will also be appearing on several broadcasts, such as "Music Bank" on October 22, and Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" and "Inkigayo".

CL's Releases Prior to 'ALPHA'
Prior to the release of "ALPHA," CL had only released one album so far, the mini-album "In the Name of Love," which was released back in December 2019 and contained a total of six tracks: "Done," "Rewind," "Paradox," "One and Only," "I Quit" and "Thnx."
In addition, CL had also collaborated as a featuring artist for several other artists, such as PKCZ, Kim Ximya, DPR's Ian, and Epik High.
