"Monster Rookie" aespa previously held an online video call fan signing event where the quartet communicated with fans and supporters.
On social media platforms, a fan then shared a snippet of Giselle hilariously complaining about ae-aespa, the virtual counterpart of the members who make them an eight-member group.

During the video call with a MY, aespa's fandom, the fan asked, "Shouldn't æ-members in KWANGYA also hold this event?"
In response to the question, Giselle wittily answered, "Although the æ-members have to do this event, they were too lazy to do anything."
The "Savage" singer then started to complain, saying, "I'm just.... excuse me, we work like this, but you guys were just sitting?"

She added, "This is how you do it, huh."
As the clip circulated on social media, K-pop fans couldn't help but find Giselle undoubtedly funny and savage.
Some even commented, "Their leader Karina is working hard to defend their ae and Giselle just...lol, "Giselle really just called their avatars lazy," "This is hilarious," and more.

aespa is comprised of four human members Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing – as well as four avatar members completed by æ-Karina æ-Giselle, æ-Winter and æ-NingNing.
On October 5, the octet dropped their first mini-album, "Savage," which immediately rose to the top of various music charts and achieved a PAK (Perfect All-Kill).
In addition, aespa's "Savage" entered the U.S. Billboard's main charts Billboard 200 and Artist 100, not to mention they also debuted in other charts like World Album, Independent Album, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Tastemaker Album, World Digital Song Sales, and Billboard Global 200.
The album also clinched the No. 1 trophy in domestic music and album charts and won four gold medals in various music broadcasts, proving that "Savage" is a megahit, like their previous releases "Black Mamba" and "Next Level."
On October 20, aespa achieved a new feat as they surpassed 513,292 album sales just 15 days after "Savage" release, earning the "half-million seller" title.
As the group that continues to create a global syndrome, they also confirmed their attendance at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards (AAA), raising the heat of the spectacular festival.
