BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" has attained the shortest time to reach 300 million views on YouTube among the music videos by female K-pop soloists in history!
BLACKPINK Lisa's 'LALISA' is the Fastest Female K-pop Soloist MV to Achieve 300 Million Views
On Oct. 27 at approximately 3:46 p.m. KST, Lisa's "LALISA" music video reached 300 million views on YouTube.
The "LALISA" MV was first released on Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning the video took almost 47 days to obtain the milestone.
With that, Lisa's "LALISA" now becomes the fastest music video by a female K-pop soloist to reach 300 million views. It has surpassed the previous record of six months and one day set by BLACKPINK Jennie's "SOLO" MV.
The two BLACKPINK members are the only K-pop soloists, so far, to have a music video with over 300 million views on YouTube.

For the overall record including BLACKPINK's music videos as a group, "LALISA" becomes the fourth fastest BLACKPINK MV to achieve the feat.
BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" surpassed BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which attained 300 million views in 68 days.
"LALISA" now comes behind "How You Like That" (21 days), "Kill This Love" (32 days) and "Ice Cream" (34 days).

Previously, BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" MV broke two Guinness World Records regarding YouTube views. The first one is the world record for the most-viewed music video by a solo artist in the first 24 hours.
With a remarkable 73.6 million views in the first 24 hours, the "LALISA" music video surpassed the previous record of 65.2 million views achieved by Taylor Swift's "Me!" in 2019.
"LALISA" has also set a new world record for the most-viewed YouTube music video within 24 hours by a K-pop soloist.
Lisa beat her fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé's solo debut song, "On The Ground," which was dropped on March 12 and held the previous record of 41.6 million views in the first 24 hours.

BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" Expected to Appear on Billboard 200 Year-End Chart for 2021
In other news, BLACKPINK's first full album, "THE ALBUM," is predicted to enter the year-end chart of Billboard 200 this year.
Additionally, it is expected to be the only album by a female group to appear on the said year-end chart.
This decade, BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" has recorded the third-biggest first-week on-demand streams for K-pop albums on Billboard 200.
In the first week since its release, "THE ALBUM" had a total of 40.3 million streams. It is the only album by a female K-pop group to achieve this milestone.

Along with BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM," TWICE's "Taste of Love" ranks within the Top 5 on the list of biggest first-week on-demand streams for K-pop albums on Billboard 200 this decade.
"THE ALBUM" and "Taste of Love" are the only female K-pop group albums with the most on-demand streams.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's first full album has now spent 55 weeks on the Billboard Current Top Album Sales Chart, becoming the longest-running album by a female K-pop artist on the chart.
