Obtaining our body goals doesn't happen in an instant. Of course, there are some exercise routine and diet that has to be followed. And, that also goes for MONSTA X member Shownu.

During an interview with the Korean media outlet Top Star News back in 2018, Shownu shared that he exercises daily with his bandmates Jooheon and Wonho. Even if it was already late in the evening, he still tries to work out to maintain his good posture and form.

In 2019, MONSTA X Shownu appeared on "My Little Television 2" as a workout instructor and revealed a few exercises he does, including the standard push-ups, crunches, tiger push-ups, and others.

MONSTA X members' workout routines and diet were also disclosed during an interview with Men's Health this past April.

It was revealed that weight training is part of MONSTA X Shownu's workout routine, as well as his fellow members. This type of training includes the utilization of weight machines, barbells, or dumbbells.

The boy group also shared with Men's Health that they do breathing exercises, which can help a person feel relaxed and lower stress in the body. Apart from this, Shownu naturally works out just by practicing the choreography of their songs.

MONSTA X's choreography is known to be intense and complex and the band would often spend hours learning every dance step. With this, the members easily get rid of any unwanted fats.

MONSTA X member Shownu is well-known for his love for food, particularly delivery food. As a matter of fact, he unveiled during a V Live broadcast that it is hard for him to decrease the amount of food he consumes, and therefore, he gains weight easily.

When he guested on the TV show "The Manager" this past January, Shownu unveiled that MONSTA X usually orders a lot of takeouts since they live in a dorm. He added that he often orders a meal with rice, either Korean food like kimchi stew, kimbap, tonkatsu, and jjajangmyeon. But, he would order pasta or pizza on special days.

So, how is he able to maintain a slender figure? Well, given that Shownu is always jam-packed with schedules, he is moving around all the time, using all of his energy.

During the interview with Men's Health this past April, it was revealed that Shownu's diet includes drinking probiotic drinks. Jooheon also shared that the members usually eat chicken breast, cabbage, apple, and sweet potato.

Additionally, MONSTA X member Kihyun stated that the members don't always eat breakfast, and so they tend to spend $27,000 worth of mostly lunch and dinner each month.
