For the debut project of the global girl group, HYBE America is preparing three things. The first one is a local training system in the United States that will bring together the full capabilities of HYBE and UMG.

The two agencies have gathered the best vocal trainers, choreographers and music producers in the world. Moreover, experts from physical to psychological health will work with the artists for them to be able to focus on their music and performance.

The second aspect is to include a story that will show HYBE's new girl group's growth process and achievements as they aim to cross national, cultural, and artistic boundaries. And, the third plan is to launch a global audition; they will start receiving applications until Nov. 28.

HYBE Japan to Launch Audition Program to Select Additional Members of Their Japanese Boy Group

At the end of HYBE's 2021 corporate briefing, Han Hyunrock, CEO of HYBE Japan, talked about their Global Debut Project of a boy group that includes four former "I-LAND" contestants: Nicholas, K, EJ, and Taki.

In choosing additional members for HYBE's Japanese boy group, the company will conduct an audition program, called "&Audition," which will be broadcast in 2022 via YouTube.

HYBE Japan will provide full support to the four "I-LAND" contestants and new members to help them grow into world-class artists. Currently in development is the label's artist training system, music production, management and marketing capabilities in Japan.

Besides these, the agency is also creating businesses optimized for Japan from platform businesses (like fan café management) to artist IP-related businesses such as copyright management, MD businesses, and spatial businesses.

HYBE's Japanese boy group is already receiving lots of love from the fans even before their debut. In early September, the four members were featured in an advertisement in the popular Times Square in New York City. They are the first pre-debut boy group to have an ad at the said location.
