Former Lovelyz Jin Reveals the Group was Supposed to Release a Final Album Containing Her New Solo Song

Lovelyz Was Supposed to Drop Their Final Album before Disbandment, as per Member Jin

On Nov. 4, former Lovelyz member Jin made a post on the fan community platform Pocketdols where she shared that her group worked on a final album.

In the post, Jin stated, "While searching online, I discovered that some fans were curious about 'Wonderland' and 'Holding You.' They were actually new songs. It's a pity, you won't be able to hear them."

The former Lovelyz member unveiled in a separate post that she also recorded a solo song that will be included in Lovelyz's final album.

"It was like 'Gone 2.0,' a song that was perfect for me. It's such a shame. There's no use coming here to talk about it now, but I wanted to let you know that I've worked hard," Jin further stated.

One fan then commented under her post, asking if Lovelyz will hold a V Live broadcast to celebrate their seventh anniversary in the industry. Unfortunately, Jin replied, "No."

All the posts that former Lovelyz member Jin made have now been deleted on the app.

Meanwhile, Jin is one of the seven Lovelyz members who decided not to renew her exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment. Their contracts will expire on Nov. 16 and they will be going their separate ways starting on that day.

Former Lovelyz Jin Uploads a Handwritten Letter Regarding the Group's Disbandment

On the day of Woollim Entertainment's announcement of Lovelyz's disbandment, all eight members including Jin uploaded a handwritten message.

In her letter, the former Lovelyz member said, "On Nov. 12, 2014, I made my debut in Lovelyz and received a lot of love from numerous people. I was given a gift in the form of memories that I would not give up for anything."

Jin then expressed her gratitude to the people who cheered for her and Lovelyz over the past years. She continued that she will treasure and always remember the love that fans have given her.

"If there comes a time when I will stand in front of Lovelinus again, I will strive to show a more mature and improved version of myself so that I can repay that love I received even just a little," she added.

Former Lovelyz member Jin later thanked Woollim Entertainment's CEO Lee Joong Yeop, who took her in when she was still a young and lacking girl, as well as the company employees and staff members.

Jin also thanked her Lovelyz members. She said, "Thank you, I'm sorry and I love you. In each of your new lives that will take place now, I will cheer for you with the loudest voice."

Jin started being a trainee under Woollim Entertainment at the age of 16. And, after training for four years, she debuted as one of Lovelyz's main vocalists. In 2013, she made her solo debut with the digital single "Gone."
