While some fans were happy and surprised to see Changmin liking the post, some fans of JYJ showed a rather sharp reaction to it. This is because it may cause rumors of a reunion of the five members.

Other than that, a few JYJ fans pointed out that Max Changmin previously said that Kim Junsu is not a respectful human being after he labeled Lee Soo Man and the company staff as "enemies."

As negative reactions continued, TVXQ Changmin abruptly canceled the like on the Instagram post. The netizen who made the post also confirmed that the male idol did remove his like.

TVXQ to Release Their First Japanese Extended Play in 2022

In other news, TVXQ was reported to be releasing an extended play in Japan in February 2022. This will be the group's first EP in 16 years since their debut in Japan. All they have dropped, so far, in Japan are studio albums, best albums, live albums and singles.

The boy group's latest Japanese release is their tenth Japanese studio album "XV," which was issued back in October 2019. "XV" became the group's eighth album to debut at No. 1 on the Oricon Albums Chart, beating BoA as the first and only foreign artist in Japan to achieve eight No. 1 albums.

TVXQ's "XV" also debuted atop the Billboard Japan Hot Albums, with first-week sales of 155,000 copies. The album, which consists of a total of 15 tracks, marked the band's fifteenth debut anniversary in Japan.
