ONF Confirmed to Release Last Album Ahead of Their Mandatory Military Enlistment
On November 9 KST, ONF's label WM Entertainment announced on their social media that the six-member group will be making their comeback with a new album sometime in early December.
The upcoming album will feature all six members and will be a special gift for fans, as it will be ONF's last album ahead of their mandatory military enlist.
The album also comes four months after the release of their summer album "POPPING" that was released back in August and saw domestic and international success.
"POPPING" had previously ranked No. 2 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart with their title song of the same name for seven days. In addition, they also charted on iTunes Worldwide Song chart and the K-Pop Song chart.
With that, they were able to emerge as a trending boy group who is not only recognized in South Korea, but also all around the world.

Aside from Billboard and iTunes, "POPPING" also climbed to the top of major domestic music charts immediately after the album's release.
The music video for "POPPING" also surpassed 10 million views on Youtube within two days of the music video's release, creating a new record for the group as well.
Meanwhile, ONF is currently preparing for the new album and comeback. WM Entertainment will announce the album's release date in the future.
Five of Six ONF Members to Enlist for Mandatory Military Service in December
Earlier in the month, ONF's leaders J-Us and Hyojin announced that the entire group, minus their youngest and only Japanese member U, will be enlisting to serve their mandatory military service through a handwritten letter uploaded on the group's official fan cafe.
According to their announcement, J-Us, Hyojin, MK, E-Tion, and Wyatt will be enlisting at the end of December, with their last release as a whole being their upcoming album.
WM Entertainment said MK will be starting his enlistment on December 21; J-Us and Wyatt on December 27; and Hyojin and E-Tion to begin on December 28.

In addition, the place and time of where their enlistment is will not be disclosed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and observe health guidelines and protocols.
The announcement of their enlistment garnered wide attention, as all members of a group don't usually enlist at the same time.
However, through careful discussion with each of the members, they have decided to enlist altogether to lessen the gap in group activities and their period of hiatus.
As U is the only Japanese member of the group, he is not required to serve in the military. WM Entertainment has not yet announced U's future activities during the group's hiatus.
