Jeon Somi's 'XOXO' Tops YouTube Music Video Top 100 Chart
On November 8, Jeon Somi's title track music video "XOXO," which is included in her album of the same name, topped the YouTube Music Video Chart.
"XOXO" music video also attracted attention by rising to the top of the global YouTube Music Video Top 100 chart.
Further, "XOXO" has recorded impressive music performance: it ranked 6th on the Korean YouTube Song Top 100 chart and occupied the top spot on the Global YouTube Song Top 100.
This has shown the passionate interest of domestic and foreign fans for Jeon Somi.

Aside from that, Jeon Somi topped the iTunes K-Pop Top Song Chart with "XOXO." The album's b-side songs, "Anymore," "Watermelon," "Don't Let Me Go (Feat. Giriboy)" and "DUMB DUMB" also topped the charts, drawing even more attention.
"XOXO" is a song that has an impressive twist which is opposite of its lovely title. Its lyrics are about letting a loved one leave without second thoughts in the middle of a breakup. It has also received favorable responses from fans worldwide.

Jeon Somi Enters K-Pop Radar for the Month of October
Last November 1 at 12 AM (KST), K-Pop Radar revealed their charts that show the data from October 2021, and Jeon So-Mi's "DUMB DUMB" made it to the 22nd spot. It reached 11,631,745 views as of November 1.
Even before Jeon Somi became a solo artist, she was supposed to be joining ITZY, a girl group which was launched by JYP Entertainment. But then she left the agency before the girl group's debut and then joined YG Entertainment's Black Label .
In Particular, Jeon Somi rose to fame in 2015 when she participated in "SIXTEEN," a reality show by JYP Entertainment. It is a program where the members of girl group TWICE have been selected.
Unfortunately, she did not make it into the group and she was eliminated in the program's final episode.
Then in 2016, Jeon-Somi joined Mnet's program "Produce 101" and she successfully ranked at the top spot which made her the project girl group I.O.I. 's center.
But the project was disbanded in 2017. Yet, expectations rose that So-mi will be joining the next girl group that JYP Entertainment will introduce, then she left the agency in 2018.
