BLACKPINK Jisoo Draws Worry as She Has Yet to Promote ‘Snowdrop’

BLACKPINK Jisoo is drawing concern from her supporters as she has yet to promote her upcoming K-drama, "Snowdrop." Keep on reading for all the details.

BLACKPINK Jisoo Sparks Concern as She Has Yet to Promote 'Snowdrop'

On November 9, JTBC released the second teaser poster for "Snowdrop," a drama that stars BLACKPINK member Jisoo and Jung Hae In. On that same day, JTBC announced that the drama would start airing on December 18 at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC. For global viewers, they can watch the drama on Disney+.

The teaser features Jisoo and Jung Hae In sitting together, with Jisoo staring into his eyes while Jung Hae In looks into the distance. The caption for the teaser reads, "Do not get caught. Our love and our destiny."

As the drama draws closer, fans are getting more and more curious about the plot. However, many are surprised that Jisoo has yet to share the teaser to her social media accounts. In the past, Jisoo was seen promoting bandmate Lisa's solo debut "LALISA" and posted several Stories concerning her debut on Instagram.

Jisoo also showed support for fellow members Rosé and Jennie when they had their solo debuts. Many note that Jisoo is an idol who puts other people first, which is most likely the reason why she did not hesitate to promote her members and their solo endeavors on her social media.

Many are hoping that Jisoo will start promoting her own show as much as she promotes the activities of others. However, Jisoo has not shared the poster of "Snowdrop" to her Instagram and has not informed fans about its release date. Some speculate that YG Entertainment is prohibiting her from posting about her drama. If true, this would be detrimental to the drama's success, as Jisoo is known to have a large number of supporters who would tune into the drama if the idol informed them about it.

Currently, three out of the four members of BLACKPINK — Jennie, Lisa and Rosé — are in the United States. Many are hopeful that Jisoo will join her members in the country, yet many doubt that will happen, as she needs to be in South Korea to promote "Snowdrop." It is speculated that she and the cast of the drama will embark on several appearances on programs to promote the drama.

However, this has yet to be confirmed, and the lack of updates from Jisoo and YG Entertainment has supporters of the idol worried.
