EPEX Attains the Highest Total Album Sales on Hanteo among Rookie Groups That Debuted This 2021
On Nov. 12, Hanteo released the latest cumulative album sales of EPEX's second EP "Bipolar Pt. 2: Prelude of Love." The album has exceeded 80,000 copies sold as of Nov. 11.
"Bipolar Pt. 2: Prelude of Love" was dropped on Oct. 26 and sold more than 35,000 copies in the first week of release, a total of 35,433 copies to be exact. This is the group's highest first-week sales record on Hanteo to date.

At the time of their debut this past June, EPEX released their first EP "Bipolar Pt. 1: Prelude of Anxiety," which steadily showed an increase in sales, starting with 35,535 copies in the first week.
The rookie group went on to sell out their first EP, selling more than 50,000 copies as of July 29, almost two months since their debut.
Combining the sales of their two albums, EPEX has now sold over 120,000 copies on Hanteo, recording the highest total sales among K-pop groups that made their debut this year.

Apart from Hanteo Chart, the new K-pop boy group has also recorded the highest total album sales on Gaon Chart among 2021 rookie groups.
EPEX's second EP, "Bipolar Pt. 2: Prelude of Love," sold a total of 56,750 copies on Gaon in the entire month of October. When these sales are combined with the sales of their debut EP, the group has now sold more than 100,000 copies in South Korea.
EPEX is the first rookie group that debuted this 2021 to achieve this milestone.

EPEX's Latest Comeback with Their Second EP "Bipolar Pt. 2: Prelude of Love"
On Oct. 26, EPEX made their first comeback since their debut with the release of their second EP, "Bipolar Pt. 2: Prelude of Love," which contains the title song "Do 4 Me" and three B-sides for a total of four tracks.
"Do 4 Me" is a punk-pop track that conveys the complicated feelings and brave confession of a boy who has fallen in love for the first time. It pays homage to different songs such as Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart," Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" and INXS's "Need You Tonight."

On the day of their comeback, EPEX ranked first in real-time trends on Twitter in Malaysia and Thailand and also ranked high in real-time trends in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Moreover, the music video for EPEX's "Do 4 Me" ranked fourth on Vietnam's YouTube Weekly Chart and charted inside the Top 10 in other countries like Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Georgia, and more.
In five days of release, the number of views of the "Do 4 Me" MV crossed 10 million views on YouTube. And, the song even debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart on the same day (Oct. 31).
